I don’t care what anyone says… this show is to prove why Mcgregor and Christensen were not the issue with the prequels. Those two were amazing with poor scripts apart from Ep. 3, and especially Christensen is here to prove HE IS DARTH VADER. I cannot wait to see him to Don the cape once more!

There’s no other character in pop culture with the same uniqueness as Darth Vader. You don’t even need to see him, or hear his voice. All you need to hear is that iconic deep breath and immediately everyone goes “DARTH VADER!”

Vader seems like he is going to have that Thanos moment "fine I'll do it myself" this series is going to definitely hit all the lore , I'm praying we get a Vader series after they finish ahsoka , but going into the jedi purge or just some of those story we seen in those comic books wishful thinking

@@mariothomas102 yeah that’d be cool but it won’t ever happen that would only work for long time fans, anyone who doesn’t know too much about Star Wars would hate the show cause it’s only a bad guy killing good guys and never the good prevailing the only way they could do this is by making the story about a Jedi or multiple Jedi being hunted by vader and focusing on the Jedi, while also showing vaders character and how he was which is what obi wan is doing

@@Mitch47 You're probably right. I was just kind of hoping we might get a surprise appearance of a Jedi who escaped order 66 who we already know who may have rendezvoused with Kenobi but I'm also fine being introduced to a new Jedi character
he's not talking to another Jedi so to speak, it's the recording of a message obi one left for other Jedi out there in the galaxy to remain hidden

As excited as I am, as everyone rightfully should be, for Ewan McGregor to return as Obi-Wan, I'm far more ecstatic to see the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin/Vader!!!!
i hope we get some scenes of Darth Vader in his meditation chamber and float tank. It would be awesome to see Hayden Christensen acting outside of the suit as well.

Why would obi wan fear the inquisitors? He’s a Jedi master and they’re just pawns

@@AustinB96 The Inquisitors are Vader's bloodhounds, and it's made clear throughout canon runs that Vader is absolutely on the hunt for Obi-wan above anything and anyone else, to the point that Sidious had to tell him to chill tf out and get back to running his Empire.
They might not be able to kill him, but all they have to do is sic the rest of the Empire and Vader on him. Obi-wan's priority is hiding until Luke can be trained, and an Inquisitor outting him is not going to help with that goal. Rebels also illustrated that killing an Inquisitor means really, really attracting Vader's attention. It means there's a Jedi who isn't a pushover, and that gets his attention.

I’m sure this has the potential to be amazing. But it won’t be. It will be a failure because it’s more about making statements than telling a story. It’s ok it’s gonna be brave, and inclusive.
