Shashi Tharoor, a third-term Member of Parliament for Thiruvananthapuram, is the bestselling author of 20 fiction and non-fiction books. He is a former Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and a former Minister of State for Human Resource Development and for External Affairs in the Government of India. Sir, even Hindi is not spoken uniformly in North India. We speak mailthili, bhojpuri, awadhi, khadi, urdu etc all different dialects of Hindi. It's just a politics.
And the irony is that you and I are not writing here in any of these languages. Don't you think that if we rely on a foreign language for common communication we are poor in languages even if we have so many.

Let me tell u what’s the problem. The problem is u like him I like him I.e educated intellectual likes him but not the mass. That’s the issue. Mr.Shashi is not backed by OBC SC ST caste factor I.e he is a general, secondly he don’t have ability to speak lie and that’s in such a way that it creates a perception of the ultimate truth. Anant Vijay's thinking reflects the old style north Indian thinking which thinks that center of India is Banaras and Hindi needs to be language of India. And PM can only come from UP and needs to be defender of Hindi language. This is a bad thinking, as an Indian who's roots are from Bihar, I would urge Indian to be proud of diversity in language, culture and religion and consider Hindi as language of north India just a Tamil is language of Tamil Nadu.
