I think what makes this ride so frightening is the fact that you don't have an over the shoulder harness, so it feels like you're just going to fly out of your seat.

They need to change the harnesses to the over the shoulder harness that goes down on your chest

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! when I road this ride I didnt know that I had to be careful of scoliosis nor did I see that I shouldnt ride it if I am afraid of hights. I dont even like the farris wheel because i am afraid that the swinging seats can tip backwards. well the back of each seat does say not to sway in it too much and cause yourself to fall out. I am terrified to the point that i cry if anyone i sit with swings it and i threaten to get us kicked off of the farris wheel. LOL true story! well i have ridden the wild fire and the powder keg but for some reason this ride made me cry and i almost passed out. i was so terrified that i clung on to the chest handles that you can hold on to over your chest, and I gripped so tight that i lost feeling in my hands and i huffed and huffed heavily and i cried and cried on the ride as i screamed. I felt my entire body get numb as would your hands if you held them in the air over your heart for a prolonged period of time. my entire body did this. when i got off the ride i was dizzy and had to have help standing a sec and my hands were literally albino pale and they stayed that way for quite some time as i walked off the ride and i said i wasnt doing that ride again. lol. Im such a freak!!! :P

Me and my entire family, big and small, went on this devil of a ride, thinking it was a nice little swing, not too scary, just a really big swing! Well, all of us have trust issues with rides now, so thank you inventors of the Giant Barn Swing. You are now my Public Enemy No. 1😂 But in reality, I think the thrill was pretty nice, just...unexpected, stupidly on my part
I didn't think this ride would be scary until it went into its 3rd swing, then i was praying for God to save me.

I felt this ride is scary too, because you don't really have anything much to hang on to with your hands, just the lap bar, unless you can grab the headrest.
Tiger Football and baseball 31 if you don’t mind some excitement. It’s not a long ride, but yes, if you are thinking of riding I would say “go for it”

i watched this last year before i left and thought it would be fun, when i got there i didn't realize how high it was and almost didn't ride it. It was my second favorite after wildfire so im glad i rode it. It's higher than it seems

This ride is a weird mix of terrifying and really fun. Definitely one of my favorites at the park.

This ride made me wish I hadn't gotten on. And that's the point. Coasters don't give you much of a chance to think; the hits keep coming. This one let's you clearly consider your mortality. I will ride again, should I be in range of Branson.

This one opened in 2007, 4 years before Barnstormer. Silver Dollar City & Dollywood are "sister" parks.
Hey deathbyillusion I got I good secret about some of the rides down in silver dollar city you know how almost all the roller coasters almost are side by side rides? well on thunderation best G-force part sit on the left side and on powder keg the right side and for outlaw run I don't know because I didn't get to ride it but how does it feel to be on outlaw run? :D
hahaha opening day wow I saw a video and it was talking about over 300 people waiting to ride that and when I was at silver dollar city I was in line for Powder Keg and the ride had difficulties the air compresser didn't shoot fast enough and they got stuck on the chain lift hill XD
Yep! It's in my opinion, the best flat-ride there, pretty much as fun as Maverick.
