My all time favorite is DaVinci's Cobalt Turquoise, and it is SUCH A VALUE for those of us in the US. It's not any weaker than the more expensive brands, and I like that it's bluer than the Daniel Smith, which I find too green. Lindsay Weirich used to love the Lukas, but observed the same thing you did on her latest tube -- it got chalky and they changed the pigment they previously used. I guess Sakura bought Lukas a while back.

Mina, your cooler comparison series are so useful! I was surprised to find only one Cobalt Teal, Utrecht PG 50 in my collection. My other turquoise tubes are mostly pthalo based & leaning toward green as does the Primatek Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. Thanks for your excellent channel.

I have Daniel Smith, Mission Gold, & Rembrandt. I love the granulation of Daniel Smith and love the blue hue of Mission Gold.

I think my favorite so far is roman szmal's cobalt sea blue which uses pb28. I'm so surprised that many brands have a blue leaning tone to this color. I definitely will check these out, thank you for the comparison 🥰

I really like the Daniel smith, M Graham and the Holbein! I have Schmincke & Qor on order coming for Christmas to finish up my palettes for those brands ❤️ really excited to try them! Thanks for another useful and enjoyable swatch compare video ✨🙌

This color is also my favorite, I use a lot of brands as well. In the green side I prefer Daniel Smith's one and in the blue side is Sennelier's the one I like the most. I dislike Lukas' version, I find it chalky and weak, so I quite agree with you. Thank you for your videos, I enjoy them a lot 😊

I find all of lukas paints chalky, they have some kind of filler that dries very powdery. Turner's was the first one I tried and loved, so I prefer the more blue leaning. I have RS cobalt sea blue on my palette at the moment. Cobalt teal is my favorite color.

I've been painting with Rosa Gallery Cobalt turquoise light since I discovered it over 2 years ago. I adore the range of greens I mix with this color. It also is brilliant when painting the faintest icy shadows in my winter landscapes. The thing I dont like is the color is sold only in pans. I really want them to offer this in tubes. The shipping costs more than the paint! The price of the paint is affordable. I buy from Amazon and sometimes if I order 4 tubes +1 pan i am only charged once for shipping. I found it intresting the color comes in the monopigment set. I am fairly sure cobalt turquoise light is not a single pigment paint. No matter, i love the transparency of this color. When i paint it is so important that I can see some white of the paper under the paint. I've been browsing all day, searching for an alternative to the Rosa Gallery, and it has been impossible to find what i want. Maybe ive been using this one too long or something. I think the Schmincke comes pretty close in hue. It would have been nice to see you lift a spot on the swatches. But the video is very enlightening. Thanks so much for sharing!

Cobalt turquoise light is usually a single pigment colour if it is a true cobalt turquoise and the Rosa gallery one is single pigment … additionally their paints are also available in tubes as well as pans. I know Jackson’s sells them

@MinaDoesArtStuff good to know! Thanks! I just bought a tube of Schmincky. A little goes a long way with this one! But I definitely will keep in mind that Jackson's carries the brand. It is one I have grown to love. I started putting random dots or smears, very sparingly in my compositions and it's so fun!
