ohh dear dai , it looked like you were having abit of the struggle there lol , that's why i never moor on the outside , always in the marina , the moorings on the outside are always far too low , they need raising .
Very little room in the Marina , would have gone in there , access to the shops is easier . We had 2 weeks of wind off and on , mostly on . But would do it all again , can be hard work mooring in that weather aye
What would you do without thrusters? You would learn how to operate a boat properly. We have been coming to the broads for 50years and have never seen the need for them.
This has been my 14th trip , so really just a novice ,buy your time served , and always had thruster's , so true in what you are saying , you aint got it you learn it . Still love thrusters . lol , i feel the need , always have a large boat , can be hard work in bad weather conditions . Lets just say times have moved on . If it aint got thrusters im passing ,
