Nice one Kris. Thank you. It’s almost a bit of an anti-climax with the extremely long wait time for it to be released. It does however look better than the KTM. 👍😎🇦🇺
@@marcusgeorge1825 For sure, which is kind of sad, as I'm sure many riders who would have bought one of these given that choice, ended up on the KTM as that's what was available for so long. That in turn hurts the Norden a bit.
11000+ miles on now and this bike is pure magic with the mods ive done it is amazing
Nice, what mods are you rocking on yours?

i didnt intend to go so over the top but what the heck it works..@@MotoJournoKris
I prefer the 890R on looks. Both great bikes.
Yep they seem to fill different niches, although there's some cross-over too naturally.
Hey Kris,
nice roads where are they?
This is all just north of Sydney.

I know what you mean, we hear about some of these bikes so far in advance we've almost forgotten about them when they arrive!
@@MotoJournoKris With this one KTM new it would steal sales hence the huge delay. It’s all about money at the end of the day.

Thanks for the review Kris. As a road-only tourer, would you rate the Norden above an F850GS ?
I'm not sure to be honest, I've never spent enough time on the 850 to be able to make a judgement there!
What makes me go for the Norden is the lower centre of gravity, and general lower mass. (Mind you, my trips are partly off road)
Also, you need the ESA on the GS to get some kind of adjustment in the forks, whereas it’s standard on the Norden
this or a ninja 1000?
I reckon I'd go this as I like the idea of having a little more adventure capability.
I got it for $4,500.00, which to me is high, from a lawnmower company that no longer making mowers.
