It's odd how the musical style in this one is so different from that of the first two games...As far as I know, this one doesn't have the trademark high pitch synth sound that was such a big part of the previous two games' soundtracks (the sound that makes up, for instance, the main melody of Torvus Bog and Sanctuary Fortress from Prime 2). Still an excellent soundtrack.
Now, I read this awhile back so I can't source it, but the reason it has such a different sound (and feel) was because they used a real, full orchestra. Pretty boss, but I still love a good synthboard.

Reading this comment 7 years after the comment posted... I still can't believe it's 15+ years old... It's so much better than most modern games in overall production. There are only ah andful of games that I can honestly say are modern marvels like the Prime games were. True Masterpieces. Also time flies...
seriously, it's amazing, it'll SO worth your time! Everything was executed so perfectly throughout the game, especially how much effort they went to with the attention to detail, I think something that really made the game for me was definitely how you can see Samus' eyes reflected on the visor glass at times in the HUD, those tiny details are really what makes a game that much more excellent!

I couldn't process the epicness that Iwas about to witness. And going back as an adult it this theme evokes so much emotions I cant' help but tear up if I listen to it for long enough.
