IIMO the best move would be to release "multiplayer prime trilogy", consisting of remastered multiplayer modes of Echoes/Hunters/FedForce, all using engine from Prime Remastered and with online/LDN support. Maybe throw in singleplayer Hunters while at it to remind people of Sylux in preparation for eventual Prime 4 release.

i am full of doubts about prime 4 by this point but multiplayer in the vein of prime hunters possibly is definitely something that needs to make a comeback when the game drops
@@Witch_of_Gains i'm a metroid superfan so i'm gonna be playing it no matter what but i'll wait to see more before i get excited. i'm a bit disappointed in the reveal trailer because it's almost all stuff we already knew about; i could've easily believed that was a fanmade cope trailer were it not in a real nintendo direct
While its a remix of Brinstar Overgrown area, you can tell the this remix also inspired the OST for MP: Hunters on the DS. I just find it interesting how a song leads into a remix, then said remix leads to new songs.
I had Echoes for nearly 20 years and only now just learned there was a remix of Green Brinstar. Never even touched multiplayer during my time playing the game.
if they remaster prime 2, i had an idea. what if along with remastering the original multiplayer and adding online, they remaster hunters' multiplayer as well as a separate mode? that would be insanely cool
If Echos gets remastered like the first game, I hope they keep the multi-player mode. I don't know about anyone else, but I love it.

The next Muliplayer Metroid game will use Hunters as the foundation, but it would be cool to incorporate some elements/maps from Prime 2 for sure!
