please make sure your dog's meets are met. for a young and healthy lab that would mean (exercise-wise) around 1.5h normal walkies plus 1.5h intense work (dummy training/ nose work/ hunting/ play+work etc.) EACH DAY. between walks/working hours (which would be 3 to 7 times a day) he needs lots of sleep/ resting time, which he will gladly use to nap if his exercise and thinking meets are met sufficiently. if your mom doubts that your dog has ADHD i can assure you that she's right. mom knows best!
Honestly I do the best I can. I usually get him for what ends up being 20 to 30 minutes during the day. Sometimes the walk is split up. I have other medical conditions that make that somewhat difficult.
