Chitoka saying "whatever you're feeling is appropriate" was so important. Grief and confusion and hurt are never inappropriate when dealing with a loss. Whatever Naomi is feeling is valid and in no way inappropriate. Poor Naomi feeling like there is something inappropriate with anything in her reaction to having a miscarriage

I completely resonate with everything she said. It’s exactly how I was feeling. My first pregnancy was a miscarriage. And it is very confusing and painful. Since it was so early, you feel like you’re overreacting because it was barely an embryo.

Miscarriages are so common, most women don’t even realize they were pregnant, they just have a heavy flow one month but never think to get tested. I’m glad she’s allowing herself to process the emotions even though she wasn’t actively trying for a baby. I hope the best for her and if she desires to be a mother, this is at least a good indication that she’s producing and releasing eggs even if this wasn’t the right one.

It's crazy because I have Crohn's disease and I struggle to keep weight on when it's active because of having up to 10 bowel movements a day and my body struggling to hold on to key nutrients from food. I have to literally overeat to keep a decent weight because my body doesn't absorb food like it should. Doctors have told me to just eat as much as I can and even have high calorie protein shakes in between meals. Just a view on the other side of the spectrum.

I love how honest she is, alot of people dont talk about the mental aspect of over eating. You dont get to that point if you dont have an issue with how you view food. I know the people on these type of shows aim for weight loss surgery, but I think even more importantly is for them to get therapy to understand the why behind the over eating. You can get the surgery but if you address the mental portion it will be difficult to sustain it long term. i was 285 lbs so its been a process to understand why I emotionally eat, why do I want to eat even when i am not hungry. What comfort am I looking for when I eat unhealthy food, etc. Long process that i still am working on.

Poor thing. It's a journey, hope she continues on her path. And there are so many cogs in the system, it's not her fault if she doesn't 100% know for sure it's the weight. And even then, most people overeat due to trauma, food can be a drug and coping mechanism. I totally understand about having miss information of what is better for your body when you are trying to loose weight. I was sick for years before being diagnosed with SIBO. Always worn out and in pain from everything i was eating, thinking it was good for me. When i got diagnosed i had reached 305 pounds, my doctor put me on a fodmap diet for the issues of being in constant pain from food that is healthy. To understand the diet i had to see a dietitian that knew abot SIBO to understand that gluten, broccoli, stone fruits, apples, and many other healthy foods caused me pain cause it irritates the digestive system. Working with a dietitian has helped me turn around my way of looking at food because she informs me with alternatives i never thought of. I am very thankful for my dietitian and her knowledge to help me and others.

A protein shake for breakfast is a very unsatisfying breakfast for someone this size. She could eat some greasy eggs and bacon, sausage etc and not spike her blood sugar and be satisfied for hours. A sweet liquid drink will get her appetite going and not fill her stomach. Just my opinion.

Self control. She needs to suppress the urge and grab a piece of fruit

@@xoxoPilar More blood sugar spiking fast burning food. Her metabolism is screwed up at this point. She needs fat and protein, her go to has been carbs and sugar to get to this state.

True. She'd been better off eating a whole pack of bacon and 5 fried eggs actually. She needs to make a drastic cut to carbs to allow her body to start burning her fat as fuel. It's the only way when you are that extremely obese.

Yeah I know she needs to lose a lot, but it seems unrealistic. You don't have to completely eliminate certain foods to be healthy

First of all Sweetheart it just wasn’t a good time for your body. Perhaps the baby wouldn’t have been healthy. Now that you are losing the weight, and you know you can get pregnant, the right time will come for reproduction. I am praying for you that your joy will come and God will bless you with a child. In the meantime, enjoy your life and all it has to offer. Remember there are alternatives and adoption is still available to all women who have difficulties in pregnancy. I wish you the best in life!😘
