As an architect with a passion for cabin-inspired homes located in the wildreness setting of the American West, this is perhaps the most magnificent, well planned and exquisitely crafted home I have ever seen. Kudos to the architect. If it were even remotely possible, my husband and I with our two ski-crazy sons would move in tomorrow!
They even made the home theatre fit this homely oversized woody style. And the library sharply more refined than the living space. And these corridors (5:13) actually achieving to look like a walk in the woods. Somebody really cared.

Most homes of that size, seems stark, clinical like a hotel or doctors office. Whoever designed that, from the decorating to the architecture, is a mad scientist. It’s wild something that gigantic, can be cozy and beautiful. What a masterpiece.

I finished building my own log home just 3 weeks ago took about 2 and a half years to build i had my dad and my brothers help me really looking forward to christmas in it plus it snows everyday so it makes the views much better
Home is magnificent. Everything about it. From the materials chosen/furnishings/use of light. The home flows really well. It feels open but at the same time, cozy, with spaces dedicated to specific activities.

I loved all the little touches like the uplot granite and logs, and the lighting along the bookshelves. That, to me, shows the level of commitment to creating a warm, inviting space. Super presentation!
This is incredible, love the house and would want to live here! I see so many new style mansions being built up in LA, NY, and NV but the problem is the dwell style mansions look too much like shopping centers, coffee shops, or corporate business offices and I want my home to look like a home! This log cabin mansion looks like an ideal home!

I dont comment on alot of these nice home tours but I have got to comment on this video especially i am born and raised in colorado and I love the rustic homes. This video of this home is my most favorite home that I have to say. I loved the tempatured controlled wine cellar because I have grown to love wine 🍷. But my other favorite parts of this home is the library room because I would give anything to have a good book in my hand flipping through the pages but I love the custome wine railing in the home too. But over all the whole entire home is just beautiful. Really good features to everything in here. I would also would love to see a home that is like this but have like a place for people that loves to garden because if that is added to these features of the homes that would add another part of my favorites to my list. I love rustic farm homes. I like some modern homes but i love traditional rustic farm homes the most out anything else.

Log cabins are in my top five favorite type of homes. The warmth of wood, glass, stone and metal! I could have my entire family there...and the house is so huge, I'd never have to see them!!! SOLD!!!
Don't most people call their half bath bathroom in the main area a powder room? That term was pretty common I thought. Basically any bathroom that's just a water closet/toilet and sink.
@@jimzecca3961 It's very much a regional/class thing as far as I'm aware. It's fairly common in the south regardless of class in my experience, as well as in upper class homes such as this one, so also common in areas with extreme wealth where there are a lot of mansions. Elsewhere, not so much.
I like the stairs. It reminds me of my great great uncles cabin. Just these massive half log stairs and in the living room at the bottom was a huge grizzly rug with the head. For some reason that's all I remember about the cabin.
If you put me or move me in this house, you know I’m never leaving. My word! One drop dead gorgeous house! Of course, I would have to leave the house to stock up the kitchen with groceries but you get my drift. If I step foot in this house…good luck in having me thrown out. Because I’m not leaving.
