Great video. A mate of mine does roofs & installs these if the customer wants. He buys the bastion vents from Bunnings & hits them with a can of spray paint (misting spray) pre install & then if necessary again when installed. You can’t tell it wasn’t bought coloured from a few metres away, let alone the ground. Saves $100 per vent
Thank you so much for sharing. Very well done. Much appreciated. I had been wetting my pants about installing these on a tiny house, however with your demo thinking it will be a piece of cake.
Great easy to follow video 👍 Would this type of vent be sufficient to install on a flat tin roof which is on a small room at the side of our house, which we use as a utility room here in england
The design is such that water is prevented from getting through the fins and into the turbine itself, regardless of whether it is a windy day, or the rain is heavy or light.

@@projectlex I think it’s the best alternative and cost effective way of keeping the house/shed cool aside from installing radiant barriers I should say.
Hi, I would like to ask a question. I already installed 1 Whirlybird. And planning to install a ceiling exhaust fan. My question is, since I already have a whirlybird at the top of our roof, is it still necessary to add a separate duct for the exhaust fan? Or is it ok to just let the whirlybird suck the hot air from the exhaust fan?
Is this hard to maintain? Does it need to be lubricated at some point to keep on spinning and will small leaves enter? Im thinking of installing one but worried about water seeping and leaves entering

man this is the easiest guide to follow! thank you!
You’re welcome, have fun with the install

Thanks. Yeah nice, they are great for the price
Don’t silicon all the bottom in order to leave a drainage hole.
Thanks. A roof blanket would also go a long way to improving the thermal properties of the roof.
Yes, you’re definitely right.
Best tutorial is the simplest, what you did was perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Was my first ever video so a bit clunky. But thanks, appreciate it.

You’re welcome & good luck with the install.

Borat installs Whirlybird. And there's my wiife.
Hi, my name a Borat. Very nice!
Did all those screws have rubber rings on them?
Yes
So helpful! Thank you 😊
Thanks. Stay tuned, more to come
Not sure why you had to go underneath to fit the actual whirlybird vent ? Got it to the adjustable shaft then fit shaft with screws ?
The borat impression tho😂
😂🤣
God Bless You Brother
Happy to help
What will happen during rainy day?

does the rainwater gets into the house when like there is a storm coming?

does water gets inside if there is like hurricane or typhoon, rain together with fast wind?
Hi Arvin. Don’t have such severe weather events like that where I live. Do get heavy rain & wind & had no issues.
Great instructional video. 👍
Subscribed.
Thank you, much appreciated. That was my first video so hopefully I’ve somewhat improved since then haha
Nice am from the Phillipines
Great stuff 👍
Wouldn't rain get through the vanes?
No, the design prevents that
Thank you thank you 🙏
You’re very welcome
Hhahaha there's my wife. Gold
🤣
Attic fan installation
How many hours did this take you to install from start to finish?
Was 2 years ago sorry I can’t recall. Also when I’m filming it takes a lot longer than normal.

So how do you get to the part needing lubricant? Pull it all apart ?
Cost of this producr
