Since this tier list was completed i have reconsidered that SUPPORT SCRAPPER is in-fact S-Tier, and it is a MUST pick in WvW Larger Scale.

Great video, thank you! How would a party ratio look in this meta? 1 power DPS / 3 cele hybrid / 1 healer?
Cele fb/ cele renegade/ cele scourge / cele reaper/ scrapper heal (replace reaper with x1 power holo imo need 2-4 in a 50 man squad) you can also replace cele scourge with a few cele spell breakers again 2-3 in a 50 man full squad)

Which source do you suggest for viable zerg builds? Is there a sub reddit or do you use guildjen? Do you know a reliable source for zerg compositions, too?

Hey, thanks for the video. As a newish player, I'm wondering whether any of those S tier classes could work in roaming/small group comps? I don't tend to run around with a zerg, but also very aware that there are a lot of classes better than my core thief :( Any suggestions? Many thanks
A lot of specs can be great for roaming, honestly these Zerg builds are not good for small scale. You might get lucky with some of them, but you would need to find a better build to be competitive. Game is kinda casual though so I wouldn’t be surprised if these are ok in small scale.

two GS power Virt with 1 shatter, gs4, can spike hard, follow up with dagger 3, and various other blade aoe's on down, it's surprisingly good spike and down pressure. 3? 3 ends up being overkill.
i think its just unreliable but in the right situation could be very punishing.

Hopefully Cele will really start to become popular for large scale WvW. It needed to be nerfed years ago. Cele vs 3 or 4 stats is almost like equipping two gear sets at the same time, stats amount wise. (iirc cele has 74%-59% more stats than any other option)
Cele really does need a nerf. It's just too much benefit for not enough trade off.

@avielp yeah the idea is that it gets so popular that anet finally decide to nerf it.
It's just good pve stuff, a cele backpiece is the most substantial part now😂 along with a chest and maybe the helmet . I wouldn't necessarily utilize it in exclusive power dps comps. it serves no purpose other than hybrid which defeats the purpose of the dps golums .now that hybrid is more intelligent solo cele becomes more attractive...ANET designed this game to frown upon any thing solo...especially at launch. Most of the solo stuff done was exploiting class mechanics and nothing to do with gear.

It is strong in pve, but it's also super strong for a lot of professions in WvW. It was a big enough problem in sPvP that they removed the Cele amulet all together from that format.

how about celestial staff tempest? has a lot of condis and good damage, plus the massive utility staff provides, staff water has insane condi cleanse and healing, with relic of karakosa you blast water fields and get insane area healing

i need a Reaper guide, anyone can help me? im playing with ascended zerk set everything is berzerk rn XD i want to learn WvW
Full zerk reaper is very rough to play in wvw large scale, for it to be atleast efficient you have to put yourself in dangerous positions. I’d atleast slap on some extra vitality if you are determined to play reaper. As for guides on how to play it in wvw, I’m not sure any exist. Did you want just a written guide or a video guide with gameplay and somewhat explanation on how to.

@@TheAmazingXizde if you want to play power necro then yes I would add some marauder. You can add vision sigils to each weapon set and they will proc in shroud so no need to worry too much about crit capping. But reaching 100% crit with certain skills/moments should be something to consider on any dps build.

zerker is S tear without any doubt,Holo is number 1 by DPS,then Vindicator and Zerker!

We fought a cele zerg yesterday on EB. Needless to say they were so fucking tanky and 10 more than us that it was impossible. They also all stacked in 1 spot and popped 30 cerus relics at once lmfao.
What a brain dead meta. Anet's dreams of Cele boonballs are a reality.
No, the meta before was more tanky because you had like 1 DPS and 4 supports in every group, 4 minstrel supports. Cele in general is less tanky than minstrel supports, that is for sure. Also, you don't have chaos aura sharing anymore, more strips and less condi cleanse because of the nerfs. I mean if you don't want a melee meta, you will have a pirate ship meta..is this better? I don't- think so.
What about roaming builds?

i roam with Cele. no problems killing guards camps and also defending myself with one on one (or two vs me) fights...but I only go on WVW for the GoB😅

Support Druid is very good in smaller scale, 15 vS 15 gvg it’s a very solid choice. For larger scale it kinda falls off as it doesn’t prioritise party for some of its kit. But if played well can be very useful. Probably should of included it in the tier list as A tier tbh. As for ranger dps, the reason I didn’t talk about it is because it’s overpowered and we don’t want to see a 50 man longbow ranger Zerg. Shhhh don’t tell anyone, it’s a secret cancer.

@@perishVSyou can seriously make a nice cele trapper build with frost, spike and poison trap, torch 5, lesser muddy terrain on heal, entangle and hydromancy sigils on your weapons on soulbeast with swapping pets when merged for extra knockdowns or snares from pets.
