Dear Myriam, it is such a delight for me to watch your videos. Your narration, along with your chuckles, is a true pleasure. Plus, you have so incredibly advanced the resin techniques with the courage to experiment and very fine-tuned aesthetics. You are, as I said, a delight for ears and eyes.
Just recently started watching your resin videos. LOVE THEM. Just finished #135. Just LOVE them. Loved all I have seen so far. I LOVE your laugh. It is SOOOO contagious. It just brightens my antire night. Yes, I am a night owl. Usually watch videos from about 11:00 pm to about 6 or 7 am (pacific time). Just started getting supplies for resin so I can start making jewelry/keychains and (my fave...) petri dish art. Still getting supplies. Just ordered all (except gray) of the Piñata inks. Already got the 4oz bottle of blanco. Still waiting for the rest of the colors. Absolutely going to have to get the glitter colors. I LOVE the way you just drop the colors without any specificity. Your's are MUCH more fun and sooo much prettier than others I have seen. (Not saying their's are NOT pretty, they are, but I love the colors you choose.) Can't wait to try some of these. Going to order some molds that are spcifically made for resin petri art from an Etsy store called Crownmade. These pieces turned out sooo GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE the colors. I usually NEVER click the bell for notifications... I did for your videos. I also LOVED the alcohol ink art. Other than Yupo paper and Dura-lar, what else can I use for alcohol ink art? Those papers are a bit pricey for me now that I've spent almost ALL of my stimulus check on all the other supplies for resin, inks, jewelry/keychain making and personal items. My hubby, Tim, would draw the line at $20 for 4 or 12 sheets of paper for practice/learning. He would say that is way too much. Especially after I just spent so much on all the resins (both epoxy resin and uv resin) uv light, silicone cups, scales, and other supplies, inks, mica powders, and resin pigments, molds, add ins (or resin fillers, like flowers, glitters, etc) that I have bought. Yes, I tend to go overboard on EVERYTHING when I get excited about something. Personally, I think he's about to kick my (proverbial) butt for spending all that money on everything I did. Can't wait to see what you do next. Great video. Thanks for sharing and being so inspiring. I WILL be watching more (old and new).
Myriam! You are The G.O.A.T. when it comes to creating beautiful resin coasters! I learn so much from your videos and your sunny, cheerful personality shines through as you encourage us newbies who want to create beautiful items for home and gifting to others! God bless and please continue to bring more great tutorials for all to enjoy!
I know you posted this a year ago, but this is just beautiful!!! And thank you for sharing the thinning of the sinker ink. I love the fluffy look and don’t like the white blobs either!!! I’m missing you on UA-cam.
You have your old spark back! I can hear it! I don't think anyone else can bring me such joy in sharing creations as you can. Indeed, angels are singing!
Thank you so much for that Pam! I don’t know if many people would’ve picked up on it but I do feel more like myself than I have in a few months. It’s been a difficult road for sure but having amazing supporters like you has helped more than you may ever know. Thank you, thank you for your faith and amazing kindness. 😊💕
Love it, love it, love it!!! I definitely see the elegant bird; the shimmering effect is so eye-catching on that work side., I love the choice of colors and the gauzy wispy look on the underside: all around, undeniably gorgeous. And yes, the angels are singing!
HA HA HA. I LOVE this video. I had to laugh at how much we think alike.... I can't leave a space "untouched"....and Glitter...You can NEVER have too much glitter....And the WAIT! OMG. It's brutal!
Just a trik...for no buble in resin heat why hair dry in a cup ,part A in part B. Heat just for eliminate viscosity. After you are have heating each part, mix the two part. Your resin is now more fluid and have no viscosity and no buble.
I’m so happy you liked this Theresa! The metallics are a truly different animal... it definitely took me a while to understand how they behave 😁. It was a pleasure to share. Thank you for your kind comment 😊💕 .
Oh, Myriam, how I miss your beautiful, delightful, cheerful self! ❤❤❤ Any time you post, or laugh, sweet lady, Angels are singing! 💕💕💕 I don't understand how I could have missed this video, though? Well, it's a "new to me" one, so I am going to thoroughly enjoy it! 💕😊💕 Oh, how I love my Marabu glitter ink! Now, HOW did I know you were going to say "because...*glitter!"* Ha! I beat you to it, even! 😂😆😅. I definitely see the Water Phoenix! Love it! *AND THE FRONT!!* Holy cow, I thought the pour side was gorgeous, but the *front!!!* And... *I see glitter!!!* It worked!
Wow, wow, wow! Amazing, now I need to get some alcohol inks! I’ve come over from Steve McDonalds Arts & Crafts, now I’m definitely subscribing to your channel also!
I hear the angels, I see the bird and the gorgeous colors dancing in front of my eyes, it can’t get much glorious than that! It’s a shame the Mirabu ink sets are all sold out, including the glitter inks
Hi Donna... thank you so much for the kind, supportive comment 😊💕 . About the inks, they are all available individually and there is no difference in price to by them individually.... the sets are just a convenience thing. 😘
I always have a laugh with your demo's .. You are funny and also knowledgeable which is a really cool teaching tool. I was soo invested in this that I could hardly wait to see the reveal :) & most definitely worth the wait !! Gorgeous xx
I love this video, and have watched it a few times now. Thank you. I have a quick question. Wht do your prefer Clearcast 7050 as opposed to the 7000? I’ve been to the Clearcast website and it still isn’t clear to me which one I should use. I want one that I can use for keychains, bangles, coasters, and jewelry. Help me to choose!
This is so very beautiful I love it. I love watching you with your inks. Even the other side is so pretty. I am going to try this. So when I looked at the website you provided I couldn’t find the blanco blanco. Only the blanco?. Am I missing something? Thanks
I can't pick one side over the other - both so beautiful. Thanks for sharing a good laugh and your wonderful talent and willingness to experiment. You are an inspiration.
I saw the bird right away but I look for objects in my paintings so yeah it's beautiful I love the bird. You do really good work it's beautiful. I think I'm going to have to start doing the ink thing. LOL
I actually *like* those "white blobs" as you call them -- makes the other side look like a garden. But I think it also depends on the viscosity of one's resin, as to how much the white "crashes" -- low-viscosity resin would have more white blobs, and I think my resin is probably more viscous than yours, so I get fewer blobs anyway.
Super beautiful and definitely heard the angels singing! Thank you for the excellent walk through, and I really love how soft and luscious the colors turned out with the blending white.
I enjoy your videos so much that I’ve re-seen a bunch of them. I have a question and it’s going to require a bit of a in depth comment. I wrote to you on a older video and I’m certain you did not get it so I’m going to write on this one hoping that you will get this comment. I’ve made a resin globe for my granddaughter. In the globe I put Pegasus’ , Magicians, crystals, swans of different sizes, man-made opals, fire glass, and colored sand (that didn’t work out so well). Since I had to feed the second half of the artifacts through a small hole in the top of the mold I had no way of knowing if they would go belly up and my granddaughter would say, “but grandma why is Pegasus dead?“. When I demolded, I found that the sand did not adhere to the resin which was quite a mess, along with the fact that for some reason which I cannot explain, I had bubbles and divots on the outside surface which required me to sand and then re-coat with resin.. As you probably have guessed each time, there are now 12 times, that I have had to re-coat there’s been some problem either bubbles or (I will never use a Dremel again to sand) or drips requiring yet again sending with different levels of sandpaper up to around 12,000 grit. I hate the Globe! If I hadn’t promised it to my granddaughter, I would scratch it and start again but because she has been ill I’ve wanted to make good on my promise in a timely manner.. I had surgery on my hand and as a result my Carpenter sanded the globe fairly smooth but he was pretty aggressive, creating scratches. I don’t know what to do . Do I again wet sand until I can get rid of as many scratches as possible then use a plastic compatible paste and then wax? Or, bite the bullet and put another level of resin on the outside of the globe? If I don’t like the result with the paste, would I be able to put another coat of resin over that? I’ve used different resinS thinking that perhaps it is the resin that didn’t work out as well as it should , diamond fusion was used for the deep pour and then one time I coated the outside with it’s pouring resin. I’ve tried as much different variations as I can but I still get imperfections in the globe. I wouldn’t mind some of them but it makes it hard for her to see what’s inside which is after all the reason for doing the Globe. What would you suggest short of a large garbage can. how can I avoid drips and drizzles on the globe if I have to coat it again? Help, my next adventure is to do a pyramid for my grandson and he didn’t make it so easy because he wants it lit up. Take care and stay well.
I'm a new sub love your channel. I'm 62 new to this and want to get started ,what and where do I get the glitter you used in this ? Was it alcohol ink ..plz lmk and thank you
