Una ferrata da brividi: Corno del Bene. Lago d'Iseo, Zone

Percorso: dalla fine della ferrata Corna delle Capre ( • Ferrata verticale Corn... ) abbiamo seguito in rapida salita le indicazioni per la ferrata Corno del Bene e i segni arancione. SCONSIGLIAMO di farlo (motivi indicati nel video). Meglio percorrere il sentiero del ritorno anche in salita, e poi deviare per l’attacco della ferrata Corno del Bene. La ferrata ha caratteristiche molto simili a quelle Corna delle Capre: verticale, esposta, qualche passaggio strapiombante, attrezzata con cambre e maniglie metalliche, ma consente di sfruttare la roccia. Si raggiunge la vetta Corno del Bene (1.685 m), con una bella vista sul Lago d'Iseo, Monte Guglielmo, e sulle Alpi Orobie. Ritorno passando dalla Baita Palmarusso (1.596 m), Cascina Casentiga, Forcellino delle Piane (1.089 m), e dall’attacco della ferrata Corna delle Capre
Distanza (compreso la I ferrata): 10 km. Dislivello: 800 m, da 1.000 m a 1.685 m
Livello: Sentiero EEA. Ferrata impegnativa, verticale, esposta e con alcuni strapiombi
Equipaggiamento: casco, guanti da arrampicata, longe di sosta, scarpe da avvicinamento con climbing zone, imbrago e kit ferrata. Non usati i ramponi, ma utile averli
Periodo: Gennaio

Attenzione: ci sono un paio di evidenti deviazioni errate nella traccia, che si consiglia di evitare. Inoltre, come sopra indicato, per l’avvicinamento dalla fine della ferrata Corna delle Capre meglio percorrere il sentiero del ritorno anche in salita, e poi deviare per l’attacco della ferrata Corno del Bene.
Warning: There are a couple of obvious erroneous detours in the track, which you are advised to avoid. Furthermore, as indicated above, to approach from the end of the Corna delle Capre via ferrata it is better to follow the return path even uphill, and then deviate towards the start of the Corno del Bene via ferrata.
Route: from the end of the Corna delle Capre via ferrata ( • Ferrata verticale Corn... ) we quickly followed the signs for the Corno del Bene via ferrata and the orange signs. WE DO NOT ADVISE doing this (reasons indicated in the video). Better to follow the return path even uphill, and then deviate towards the start of the Corno del Bene via ferrata. The via ferrata has very similar characteristics to those of Corna delle Capre: vertical, exposed, some overhanging passages, equipped with metal brackets and handles, but allows you to exploit the rock. You reach the Corno del Bene peak (1,685 m), with a beautiful view of Lake Iseo, Monte Guglielmo, and the Orobie Alps.
