Great tips. Our team was a newbie breed in the race and made some mistakes particularly in transition. The show didn't capture some of the disputes between teams, but there were quite a few. Great video and feedback from you. Thank you. Hoping to see you at a finish line someday. stay safe!
I can't thank you enough, this information is priceless , I appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge about this sport, myself and a couple of friends are venturing in this new sport and are going to work towards a eco-challenge in a few years, you are my UA-cam mentor and I'm listening to all that you have to offer, again Thank you!
I thought the one thing that I noticed was that Team New Zealand never stopped eating. Every time I saw an interview with Nathan Fa'ave he was eating something. Which goes to validate your observation on efficiency. This is a great series and i am looking forward to sharing this with some of my AR friends.
Thanks Adam. My experience on the first big race is that one is overwhelmed at the distances when they finally happen. Just focus on getting through the 2nd night and the race will work for you. The captain must manage this and guide the team one section at a time. Plus we saw teams give up in TAs! A no-no, for experienced teams.

Are you still working towards competing in an eco challenge then?

Some great valid points, especially about the efficiency as that's how wars are also won
Participating in my first adventure race tomorrow and been watching your videos! Thanks for all the great tips.
Really enjoying the series! Looking to get into AR having never heard of it before seeing Fiji and your videos are really helping
I found it very helpful and focused on rather mindset than technical advice. Love that!! (btw the shitting cat @ 15:20 made me lol...
HAHAHAHA!!!!
Thanks for pointing that out!
It's all about the details!

Great video , training to compete in the coming future
Don't go too light, have the right equipment especially if you have to swim in cold water.
Spot on. People think a tropical location means it's always hot - nooooooo! :D
There better be a whiskey flask in here somewhere
Man, no whiskey. ;( Great advice otherwise.
