A professor at my university asked us to listen to Junaid Akram. He said I always watch him i learn alot from him. That's a PhD professor and literally he is one of the best teachers.

To the young man in the last story: You seem like a mature person now and you should have a serious heart-to-heart conversation with your mother. Make a 'business case' (for lack of a better term) and mention your concerns to her by saying that her actions are unethical, they have been deeply hurting you for years and that you can't take it anymore. Let her choose between her lifestyle or you, and if she really cares for you, she'll give up her bad ways.
Also, make duaa for her as duaa is one of the most powerful things Allah has gifted us with. Help her overcome her bad habits, take her out to a restaurant, go visit new places, etc, and I'm sure this will help. But as a final resort, if it's really a lost cause then do as @JunaidAkram bhai has suggested - distance yourself from that place but keep minimal communications with her because she's still your mother after all. May Allah make it easy for you, brother, ameen.
In my opinion im pretty sure directly talking to her heart to heart won't be a good idea. Generally old Pakistani people are pretty narrow minded, means that they are not at all open to new ideas, and as junaid bhai said in the video, she's 44, there is little to no chance that she'll change

Related to last story...Never lose hope....hidaaya is in Allah's hands...Badtar say badtareeen insaan ko bhi agar Allah hidaayah dena chahaen tou dai sakte...The one solution that can work is if you can get the mother in touch with some islamic lectures...play them on CD player aloud...or if she can join any islamic institute...i know of one institute and that is such an amazing institute unbiased non political and that is Alhuda welfare organization

On the other hand there are many good parents too which support their children like my parents. He said is sal admission kara do kisi uni ma bhi phir next year phir try karna agar ho gaya to chala jana wahan. And i applied and did got admission there. And the best smiling face in my family was of my father. By the way i love your content 😍 keep it up.
That last story, man that got me. I can't even imagine in any shape or form my mother or any of my close relatives being that way. My heart goes out for that guy. Junaid Bhai, you gave him the best advice. Bro, if you read this, get therapy. There's plenty of online therapy sessions these days you can get, you can do it from anywhere. You really need this because it's going to haunt you for the rest of your life. Alhamdulillah Allah protected you, otherwise most such cases (I'm in the US) I've heard of here, end up with the kids being Soo affected by it that they continue the same, because they don't know if it's wrong or not. It becomes normal to them. Alhamdulillah it was never normal for you. You'll get out of this, trust in Allah and get some help. Let a close friend in on what your going through (maybe, if you trust them enough). I'm here to support, and we're all here for that.
I feel so bad about the medical student. I am so concerned about his futureand mental status. I like ur advice of him having treatment. He need to vent out with someone. He really need to get out of this situation and away from this environment. Otherwise he will become a very abusive person once he will have his own family.

In the last story, I feel his mom was not really in need of money, rather she was in search of love which converted into an addiction. She might had never accepted his husband's second marriage. Now she should be counseled first by a psychologist at least she would improve a bit and she is really ill by her mental health. You must take therapy though.

FYI junaid bhai getting a B in o level isnt the same as getting a b in inter. As B grade in CIE is somewhat around 80-85% so the result isnt too bad either

First of all O Level corresponds to matric not inter, A Levels is the equivalent of inter and secondly the maximum marks you can get under the B Grade are 79%. You can check that on the internet, 80 to 85% comes under A
