Lost Horizons is truly a Legendary Rock Song. Maybe not his best version, but he's still my favorite guitarist. No one plays with the emotion that Schenker does.
thx for the post -I see that Michael palyed in that stance since I have seen him. He never moved much. Great player, great song...great you gave other people young and old to hear some classic stuff.
Gracias por el vídeo. Es la primera vez que oigo "Lost Horizon" con Robin McAuley. No me parece un buen cantante para esta canción, pero es interesante poder escucharlo // Thanks for the video. It's the first time I hear "Lost Horizon" with Robin McAuley. I do not find a good singer for this song, but it's interesting to hear.
Admittedly, Michael made some mistakes during this show, but he wasn't sloppy overall. Most MSG fans have seen Michael during a bad night, and we prefer not to talk about it. Most guitarists have an off once in a while - they're only human. Michael probably had four or five beers before the show; however, his guitar solos on "Rock Bottom" are brilliant, and the tempo is high.
lol, why doesn't the outro solo line up with what is playing? Agreed that this is not his best performance ( probably on something or two) but still has the vibe!
John Norum is a favorite of many MSG fans. I have nine of his CDs. All contain brilliant music in every respect. Mr. Norum probably wouldn't agree with all of your harsh criticism; however, the hair extensions were unnecessary. For the record, Schenker's style evolved considerably from 35 years ago to the present. "Shimmering Highs" from Another Destination has Schenker written all over it. Mr. Norum is also heavily influenced by Gary Moore, George Lynch, Van Halen, Malmsteen, and others.

Michael Schenker's guitar sound is the greatest natural high for me. Thank you so much for posting these treasures.

One of the best, & most natural guitar players ever. Thanks for the share :)
Майкл всегда так сильно погружается в свою игру! И ему очень идут длинные волосы! Красавчик! Жаль, что молодость быстро проходит!
