I was researching my family history and have a lot of French ancestors who came over I’m not sure how they did yet but it was the mid 1800s I hid a wall and now I have to try to find French records and when they came over to America

I was a bit confused because there was talk of ancestors coming over through Ellis Island before Ellis Island was opened. But I get it. I can have their names engraved even if they didn’t pass through there.

We visited Ellis Island for the first time in September. We were so tired from Statute of Liberty that we didn't stay long. Plus we had tour tickets for One World Observatory.

I had my grandfather and husband’s name engraved when it first opened. I have certificates on my wall. I did go to see them, also some of my family visited also.

My biological mother was born in Praha, Czechoslovakia however she was raised in Germany. Unsure where I would start looking for family. I do have some living in Germany. Could you point me in the right direction please?

Mt. Vernon. Thomas Jefferson? Hmm, let's double-check our work...
