STOCK MAX-D SMT10 NAILS BACKFLIP RUNNING 16T PINION

Welcome! In this video I Freestyle my Axial Max-D SMT10 RC monster truck for the second time, with the pinion gear upgraded from the 11T pinion gear to the included 16T pinion gear! To my surprise, the 16T pinion proved to be a huge upgrade for this truck, even with all stock components. Watch as this cool little rig pops wheelies, hits jumps, and actually nails a backflip! While it is was not a huge jumper out of the box, the 16 tooth pinion gear gives it a nice increase in speed without it loosing any torque. From here, I am going to lock both the front and rear differentials, add rear steering, and drop a brushless system into the truck. I plan to upgrade other components as necessary.
