Dragunov has pretty much always been my favourite sniper in every cod it’s been in. I feel like my own experience with it trains me to go for headshots so the 1-shot kill areas/damage range isn’t so bad for me.
The Dragunov is... weird. In my experience it’s extremely inconsistent, so I can’t really say it’s better than the other two sniper rifles. It is nice though, that it’s movement speed and ADS are so much faster than the other two snipers. It feels more like it should have been a marksman rifle lol.
In my experience, out of all the marksman and sniper rifles in the game, in order to get platinum camo I had to get them all gold and from the time I started on each gun and got gold I moved on right away and never really stuck to any gun for longer than needed and out of all the snipers and marksman rifles, the dragonov took me the least amount of kills/had the fastest time to get gold.. and it was like the 3rd gun I went for lol so it wasnt really me getting better, its fairly good in my opinion and underrated. In previous cods I always hated it but in this one its pretty solid.
I’m not gonna lie, I want to like this gun in MW, but I feel that most of the niches it fits are matched or outclassed by even DMR’s like the M14 (EBR-14) and the SKS. Sure, those 2 lack the 1-shot kill outside of headshots, but in return, offer less recoil and reliability. The M14 is debatably better at range and SKS for closer quarters combat.
I agree. Havent played the SKS yet but i just play the Dragunov on gold and compared to the MK14 it isnt that good. Mk14 was my first gold one and one of my favorite guns in the game. I know it isnt that good on paper too but you can fire way faster with less recoil so you land 2 body or 1 eadshot easily. On longer ranges you have to hit the head but same with the Dragunov. So if i have to choose i take the MK14.
@@kab1ractually no. The original gun was the M14 and the modern version is the MK14 EBR. In cod ghosts it was called MK14 and my favorite gun so the name stuck. I also play with the modern looking barrel and other attachements so my version is closer to the MK14 Mod 0 or Mod 1. Its just a habbit calling it MK14.
This makes for a great anti-sniper rifle, when you hear that CRACK of a sniper rifle, you know its time to peak and preaim the guy for when he peaks again, but then, you're dead. The fact its a semi-auto and that almost nobody uses this thing is its greatest strength.
This is underrated sniper at first I thought since it was a dragonov it is trash but this is pretty damn good in multiplayer. As long as you are a good sniper it's a good sniper.
Great video as always Ace, however one thing I will mention on the recoil. At your close testing distance, 15 meters or so from the wall, the gun doesn't appear to jump a whole lot, so it looks good on your recoil chart. But extend out to anything beyond 30m and that 2nd bullet isn't anywhere near the target and the gun doesn't recenter well at all meaning you basically have to scope out and back in to get on target. I did a recoil test at 50m and that 2nd bullet is probably 2 feet or more above the first shot.
@@thatonekid464 I only use the Dragunov on Ground War. I usually give it: Tac Laser The longest barrel, 610mm I believe. Variable Zoom The stock that only increases ADS And then I usually give it a perk (Focus or Recon depending on the situation) Recon for sniper hunting. Focus for more of an anti-infantry role while watching the objective areas.
Awesome guide ACE! I have enjoyed all of your gun guides and this is no exception. I really appreciate you breaking the Sniper Rifles down a bit differently than other weapons; Knowing exactly how those sights and attachments affect the ADS speed is exactly what I was hoping for. You never fail to deliver! 😉👍
Best Setup Dragunov Monolithic Suppressor Tac Laser 660mm Barrel Scope = Personal pref FTAC Hunter Scout Honestly this is a beast setup, I got the gold camo before the 450 kills easy. Grind to get the atatchments no worries. Make sure you put the trash can weapon charm on so people think it's still trash.
An important thing about the Dragunov that you missed is that there is a blueprint (which is free you just need to do some challenges) has a perfect default scope( idk how its called) (its basically like the ax 50 one ) and that saves you one very important attachment slot.
Hi everyone! I made some research about bullet velocity. On distance of 100 meters, the bullet drops to these amount of centimeters depending on barrel: Standard Barrel: 20 cm, 510-mm Short Barrel: 40 cm, 660-mm Long Barrel: 10 cm. If the bullet drop is 9.81 m/s^2, then the bullet velocity of this sniper riffle is: Standard Barrel: 700 m/s, 510-mm Short Barrel: 495 m/s, 660-mm Long Barrel: 990 m/s.
I got the Plague Sore variant the other day. Holy Shit that quad feed took me absolutely ages to get. So fucking glad I've finally got it. It looks so damn nice
Havelina AA50 If I recall I gotten my quad in HC, it was probably when 24/7 shipment was there but overall when it comes to kill streaks or getting X amount of kills in short time I go to HC
@@St_Mindless Days after days I stopped trying to go for the challenge...people got quadfeeds in the most ridiculous ways possible one on Ground War with a quad I believe and one with a damn Molotov! And now one with a Semtex. Fml
the dragunov is the most inconsistent gun that I’ve used in the game. I just got it gold last night to get platinum snipers and I spent about 2 hours trying to get 2 double kills at the very end because I kept getting cucked out of them.
The most inconsistent gun is VLK Rogue with slug rounds. The slugs go everywhere except where you aim. You aim at lower torso, game says you hit headshot. Really weird. Also, i somehow have top comment on this video.
I do personally love the Dragunov, even if most don't. I ground the challenge for the Plague Sore for that specific reason. It can do things the other sniper rifles can't, forgives not-perfect aiming, and still gives you OHK's. It really serves me well for objective modes. I like to use a setup with the Lightweight stock (the hollow rectangular one), bipod, 3.5x scope, recoil compensator, and FMJ/the flinch perk for a close range setup, then a laser and a variable zoom for a longer range one. Makes it very easy to control.
The Dragunov with the Plague Sore blueprint is great, at the very least aesthetically. I like the modernized SAG chassis on that, and it’s better for camos since there’s no wood to show through.
I’ve never really used the dragunov but I was once on a streak and ran out of ammo, the only weapon near by was a dragunov, so I picked it up and got 5 kills
When i grinded for platinium in sniper/makrsmen riffels, it suprised med how amasing the Dragunov is. And now they buffed it for 4 weeks ago, and its my to go sniper in multiplayer. When being so much faster than the other snipers, I win very often the sniper duels over and over again.
Was honeslty surprised when this became one of my favorite guns in the game, I dont even use the other snipers anymore. I love the Siberian Tiger variant and the plague sore is great too.
This is the most underrated sniper rifle in the game. Barely anyone using it in multiplayer maps. It's like the only sniper rifle that everyone forgets or barely know it exist.
you should review this guide because all the snipers now have one headshot full armor kill, this sniper is underrated and is very unforgiving because if you miss the headshot at 200 or 300 M it will break all armor plates, I'm having a lot of fun with people now in WZ
People who fail at this gun are the ones that get too trigger happy. Be it a follow-up shot or for a second kill, you need to wait a split second for the gun to re-center. When used with a little patience, this thing can mow down an entire team.
Great video as always. I think a nice addition to this video series would be a breakdown on screen of when each weapon attachment/perk is unlocked. That way if for example I really wanted the mono supressor we could pause the video at the end and see how long I need to grind for to get it. Just an idea, I know your videos are already incredibly detailed.
Seems like the SVD isn't nearly as bad as the interwebz thinks it is. Thanks for including all the extra ADS stats, really looking forward to the AX50 episode! :D
Getting rid of limb multipliers and lowering the recoil a lot would make it viable in warzone. They could also increase the fire rate because it wouldn’t affect regular multiplayer but would definitely help in warzone
One potential advantage in Warzone is if you land a hit on somebody who saw your scope glint, they'll probably assume you're using a .50, and they won't be expecting an immediate second shot
It's excellent at watching choke points. Running stopping power rounds turns it into the Barrett and your follow up shots can come at your own pace rather than having to be paced based on cycling a bolt action. I have two, one is kitted for ultra long range stealth kills, and the other is for fast ads and movement speed at midrange.
This gun was really painful to max out, but by the time I was done I grew to kind of like it and still use it occasionally. I run the mono suppressor, longest barrel, Cronen 4x (with sniper crosshair), bipod and Recon perk. Works great for counter-sniping without any scope glint in GW.
I was dreading using this gun as part of the damascus grind. Expected a very poor sniper rifle but got a decent marksman rifle instead. I actually enjoy playing with it.
I always bring my trusty ol' dragunov into Warzone. with the AX 50 and HDR, you always have to repeek if you miss, but with the dragunov, I can keeps shooting at multiple targets and provide surpressing fire for my teammates so they can use their sniper rifle to take them out.
According to RCADE ‘s data on his mobile app, dragonov has some sort of buff which gives a 2 shot kill on upper torso in all ranges. I’ve tried it in Warzone, it seems like so but I haven’t tried it to see it’s damage value in detail
The recoil after the first shot is just atrocious and I just got gold camo for this gun about three days ago, Honestly it is not a terrible gun and I did quite well with it in certain matches, but it seriously needs a recoil buff because it is a pain in the @ss to get double kills for example until you level up this gun and get the Extended barrel which reduces the recoil.
Dude, it's Chambered in 54r, doesn't matter what platform you put it in aside from well designed MG's it's going to kick like a fucking mule. The Dragunov isn't a particularly heavy rifle by most standards as well. It's weight and size is similar to a Mosin Nagant. So, really, unless you're settled and mounted, the actual recoil is going to be high. Even then like we see with many guns in this game on a note of realism. The fuckin' thing rocks your visual world with blur and smoke flash.
@@Meravokas its a videogame man. a video game in which you can shoulder and fire an MG 34 in full auto and pull an already flaming Molotov out of your ass... nothing in this game is realistic, balance is substantially more important.
I used it like the other snipers to get double kills, land a good one-shot kill and wait for my recoil, and land another. It is way more forgiving than the others. For the double kill challenge Dragunov should be easy.
I don’t know what’s up w games making these weapons seem bad, but I absolutely loved this thing in Advanced Warfare. I got the royalty version of it. The thing was actually fun to use, especially on the one DLC winter map that had the bridge in the middle w the two castle like side structures on each side w the two little side pathway you can use to flank. Every sniper was up there in those windows and kept coming back. Things were especially hectic in Dom and Uplink. Had the turrets too. Edit: Figured out which map it was. It was Kremlin in the Supremacy/ DLC #3 pack. Idc what ppl think, I had some pretty awesome memories in that game.
The Dragunov has been a very good sniper across most of the CoD games. But a big portion of the community will always see it as a Marksman Rifle that was accidentally placed in the Sniper category and will forever be frowned upon for not being another bolt-action that doesn't one-shot to the leg or whatever
With the connections I get here in mid/west Canada, despite being 2 hrs from a major city, the Dragunov can be incredibly painful at times. This game seems absolutely intent on matchmaking me into servers way across the US, often nowhere near where I live here in Canada. The Dragunov is amazing when you get the right maps, the right situations, and the right opposing team... and of course, a good connection too. I'm often over 100 ping, and that makes hit registry with the Dragunov frustrating at times. It can be god tier when it works though! Modern Warfare is the only game I own that loads me into servers nowhere near where I live. I wish I knew what was going on, and if there's other Canucks suffering connection issues for no apparent reason too.
Jake Hefferman I’m in US west coast. I’m pretty much forced to play in Texas. I’ve ran ping plotters and Texas is the worst possible connection to my area. Even the east coast, south east, and mid west have better pingS than Texas. If I use a geo filter it, I might wait 10min and not be put on a server anywhere else. So I started grinding Damascus and every time I use something like a the crossbow, pistols, launchers etc until my k/d goes below 1.0 then I’ll be placed in the server 20 miles away. That’s why I hate the term “Skill Based Match Making”. It’s not really related to skill or team balancing. It’s really just a simple handicap system, similar to Mario Kart. The player ahead is slowed down so that the players behind can catch up. That’s why 99% players have a nearly 1.0 k/d
Since the Dragunov is so different from the other 2 sniper rifles, I would love to see a comparison between it and the Marksman rifles. Specifically, how does it stack up against the EBR and Kar98 when equipped to be a DMR?
Dragunov: EBR or SKS is better at being semi sniper, due to shitty recoil If you want a sniper, use the HDR, Kar or AX50. Just dont use it, even though it looks cool.
Maicon Bollico No? The EBR is not 1-shot headshot in WZ. There was a bug with a blueprint of the EBR that caused them, but they patched that. The EBR is never 1-shot headshot in Warzone on a full armor enemy.
thanks for this!! been trying to get mine gold for a while not and always wondered why I had such a love hate relationship with it. But now I realize that I was trying to challenge people from ranges that I shouldn’t challenge them from. I always did better on midrange maps
Nice breakdown. I do wish you covered stopping power with this gun as I feel that greatly extends one shot kill ranges and makes this gun viable. My setup in ground war is M Supp, Ext barrel, Tac laser, ADS stock, Focus (Note overkill with an SMG is still recommended for when stopping power rounds aren't activated). Tune up perk also, obviously, helps cycle those stopping power rounds faster. I've been pleasantly surprised that statistically with this load out I have better stats than the AX-50 in ground war. KDR = Ax-50/2.18, Dragunov/2.68, HDR/3.01.
My brain is in this constant conflict between choosing weapons that I find cool or weapons that are good. The Dragunov is soo cool to use but it's hard to get these one shot kills everytime.
Wow - this was really the best gun guide yet. Guess it's time for me to like and subscribe then. Thanks for all the work - especially with the bullet drop.
tbh I didn't find it that bad. Hit markers are really annoying but I've had some really good runs with the dragunov as well. There's no other gun with the rof, round count, and range that can 1 shot to the chest. GW, 3.25x thermal, 15 or 20 round mag.
@Marko Jotic The game is Call of Duty. If the majority wanted a mil-sim, Escape Tarkov and Insurgency would be selling millions. Call of Duty is great for the casual players. For some, it's the only video game they play. These developers have to make it a game that is easy to learn and very accessible to the casuals because they just want to play and shoot. IW already hit gold with this game. It's the best selling CoD.
So I just got my first Platinum on the Marksman/Sniper Rifles, and I did the Dragunov very last, and at first I hated this Gun so much. I always try to get the “Reptile” camos first because they are usually net a good number of the other ones on the way, and I find it tedious. It was a fucking DRAG to get with the Dragunov, but once I could go back to gunsmith and I set it up with the short barrel, the fast ADS stock, tac laser, and a Cronen 480 optic, I fell in love with it. Still not my favorite gun, but it was snappy for a sniper rifle and it has a pretty forgiving one-hit-kill area. It’s not going to out-shoot a quick scoping Kar98 or peek duel an HDR in Ground War, but I’ll be damned if I wasn’t having fun with that set up.
The Dragunov is most definitely the best dragunov in the COD franchise, versus all the other cods to where it was trash. Definitely a sniper to consider, if you're looking for a more aggressive setup
If anyone for some reason wants to use the dragunov, I recommend using the compensator and the long barrel, yeah the ADS speed might be slow, but you can just attach a tac laser or an ads stock
My Dragunov: Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor Barrel: 660mm Extended Optic: Thermal Dual Power Stock: FTAC Hunter-Scout Perk: FMJ Max Damage, max range, quick target acquisition, maximum salt
FTAC stalker scout increases aiming stability instead of hurting it as stated by UI. It's probably a bug, but it makes this attachment without any downsides like every other stock does.
One key feature of the Dragunov not mentioned here was the Skeleton Stock and VLK Lightweight Stock. They actually decrease your ADS time by at least 2-3 frames for sure. They hurt your aiming stability quite a bit but use Presence of Mind and it’s a very good alternative to all the other speed attachments.
If you can try to use the plage sore variant (or any other variant that looks similar) becaus with them you can see the area outside your scope and i think the reticle is better
A bit late to the party here, but just a tip, this gun aims done sight really wonky and weird. If you use the plague sore variant, the ads animation is much more natural and less clunky. Even if you don’t keep any of the attachments that come with the plague sore, it still is much better than the base variant
You're crazy. But also, I'm crazy. This is actually my favourite sniper. At the start I thought it was underwhelming, but then I got the plague sore blueprint, so I tried it again and I actually love it now.
@@tigershanty1217 indeed it is, try using frangable disabling on it. When people are crossing streets or fields just tap them in the leg and they become turtles for easy pickings
I typically have this gun kitted for maximum aim down sight speed and strafing. I typically run the short barrel, the skeleton stock, the bipod, the less flinch perk, and the tac laser. I have had really bad matches in the beginning, and really good matches where I dominate. Now I mostly have average matches or really good matches. It is difficult to master but I typically stay away from snipers but I wanted to try and I almost have it gold. For ground war I definitely use the longest barrel, variable zoom scope, tac laser, skeleton stock, and the extended hold your breathe perk.
The dragonuv is underated truly. With the way this game has been designed, idk if its just me, but enemy silhouettes have been easy to pull a shot up into the upper bodies and heads. Ive probably got more headshots in this game accross all classes than i have in previous cod games all together! That being said the dragunov is not a sniper, its the god of the marksman rifles. I found the cronen combat optic pro with the t pose crosshair was a beautiful combination, giving me 3.5x zoom magnification allowing me to hold a lane extremely well while usually mounted bouncing from head to torso. If youre precise you can even counter snipe you just have to squint real hard lol. Kar 98 has a place in my heart but i dont think the other marksman rifles really compete unless you are a literal headshot god. If anyone knows what benefits the other rifles would have over the drag id love to know, im really not looking forward to going gold with them
Tbh I think the Dragunov is like the beginners sniper if they aren't used to it since the other 3 snipers aren't as forgiving with missing shots. Then again some say marksman rifles are just that when you can spam the fire button down a lane till the target is dead.
I just grinded the dragunov too gold in core. (Im AX50 fanboy) Its all angles, ghost/focus, and getting over sniping idealogy. Dont be afraid too send a few bullets down range off mount and then reposition. The second angle needs too be impossibly small and in areas that SMG/AR think they rule. Dont rely on radar.
Dragunov is literally the best gun if you can two tap a field of enemies with follow up shots you're good. The bolt actions you have to shoot cover shoot which takes way too long and can easily be flanked.
First gun gold. Absolutely awesome if you play in the sweet spot distance. I use the Plague Sore version with the 610mm barrel and tac laser. Guys give this gun a chance!
Slight error with my range graphic, I reversed the color on the 1 and 2 shot kill in the legend of the chart. 1 should be red, 2 should be yellow.

The Dragunov is... weird. In my experience it’s extremely inconsistent, so I can’t really say it’s better than the other two sniper rifles. It is nice though, that it’s movement speed and ADS are so much faster than the other two snipers. It feels more like it should have been a marksman rifle lol.
Idk what it is but anytime I go against good Dragunov users in Ground War I have a tough time dealing with them.
@lostsurferjames5 it’s still a good weapon imo. But it’s much harder to use than something like the HDR or AX-50
Some days it feels like the best sniper by far and other days it makes me wanna rub my eyes with sandpaper
Garbage gun got gold never used it since
I’m not gonna lie, I want to like this gun in MW, but I feel that most of the niches it fits are matched or outclassed by even DMR’s like the M14 (EBR-14) and the SKS.
@@ZedsDeadZD I think you've combined EBR14 and MK2 Carbine into one gun and called it Mk14
I don't want no teenage queen! I just want my M14!
This makes for a great anti-sniper rifle, when you hear that CRACK of a sniper rifle, you know its time to peak and preaim the guy for when he peaks again, but then, you're dead. The fact its a semi-auto and that almost nobody uses this thing is its greatest strength.
If that is “not a lot” of recoil I’m afraid of whatever you think is a lot.
Acog on C8 SFW dosent have alot of recoil.
HighSkilled YT what does that even mean?
Wannabe12g lmfao
HighSkilled YT LIES LIKE FUCK UNLESS YOU ON PC

Dragonov: Too slow for hardcore, too weak for core
Unless you go for headshots.
I slay with it in hardcore
Dragunov is underrated. It's a quickscoping MACHINE once you have the right attachments. It feels almost like a BO2 XPR-50.
I agree
It’s a high skill I reward sniper rifle. And tbh it is my favourite sniper rifle in that game.
Pair the dragunov with the PKM because both use the same rounds which means you basically have no trouble running out of ammo
This is underrated sniper at first I thought since it was a dragonov it is trash but this is pretty damn good in multiplayer. As long as you are a good sniper it's a good sniper.
Yeah man , totally agree with ya , its a really fun gun to use and if u have a great aim its really good
Great video as always Ace, however one thing I will mention on the recoil.
This is quite frustrating
3:25 “you don’t want be hip firing unless you’re in a dire situation” *proceeds to hip fire and kill an enemy*
In addition, the enemy was like 5 meters away when he said you had to be point blank.
1:38 Woah. 174 milliseconds is pretty fast to fire haha. I know you meant rounds per minute
Whenever I play Ground War and there is Tarkov building campers. I like putting HDR noobs in their place with my Platinum Plague Sore.
that must be looking so good...
What attachments do you use?
@@thatonekid464 I only use the Dragunov on Ground War. I usually give it:
Tac Laser
The longest barrel, 610mm I believe.
Variable Zoom
The stock that only increases ADS
And then I usually give it a perk (Focus or Recon depending on the situation)
Recon for sniper hunting. Focus for more of an anti-infantry role while watching the objective areas.
@@cooliusmaximus5802 thanks man, im like 20 out from obsidian and i just got the plague sore. It's a solid gun with the right attachment
@@thatonekid464 Nice, just finished Obsidian launchers!
Best Setup Dragunov
Monolithic Suppressor
Tac Laser
660mm Barrel
Scope = Personal pref
FTAC Hunter Scout
Honestly this is a beast setup, I got the gold camo before the 450 kills easy. Grind to get the atatchments no worries. Make sure you put the trash can weapon charm on so people think it's still trash.
450 kills is a requirement for the gold, so how did you do it exactly?
An important thing about the Dragunov that you missed is that there is a blueprint (which is free you just need to do some challenges) has a perfect default scope( idk how its called) (its basically like the ax 50 one ) and that saves you one very important attachment slot.
These gun guides have always been so in depth. I don’t even play MW that much and yet I still enjoy watching this videos. Good stuff, Ace.
Hi everyone!
I made some research about bullet velocity.
On distance of 100 meters, the bullet drops to these amount of centimeters depending on barrel:
Standard Barrel: 20 cm,
510-mm Short Barrel: 40 cm,
660-mm Long Barrel: 10 cm.
If the bullet drop is 9.81 m/s^2, then the bullet velocity of this sniper riffle is:
Standard Barrel: 700 m/s,
510-mm Short Barrel: 495 m/s,
660-mm Long Barrel: 990 m/s.
I got the Plague Sore variant the other day. Holy Shit that quad feed took me absolutely ages to get. So fucking glad I've finally got it. It looks so damn nice
Im still struggling with it, can't hardly do it in Infected because the weapon choices are horrible and teammates :/
Havelina AA50 If I recall I gotten my quad in HC, it was probably when 24/7 shipment was there but overall when it comes to kill streaks or getting X amount of kills in short time I go to HC
@@R_Ronin thanks. Hopefully I can manage in Cabin Fever because I really need the blueprint since I have little to no attachments.
@@havelinaaa5053 I got a lucky Semtex in Hardcore Dom. They were all on the same flag and there was a fresh car 😂😂😂

the dragunov is the most inconsistent gun that I’ve used in the game. I just got it gold last night to get platinum snipers and I spent about 2 hours trying to get 2 double kills at the very end because I kept getting cucked out of them.
I was surprised it was a one shot to the shoulders, it feels like It hitmarkers way more than the Kar98k.
The most inconsistent gun is VLK Rogue with slug rounds. The slugs go everywhere except where you aim. You aim at lower torso, game says you hit headshot. Really weird. Also, i somehow have top comment on this video.
@@KillerandUndertaker Yep...that has been my experience as well. This thing (in my hands at least) is a hit marker MACHINE
Wouldn't Stopping Power have helped?
Antonio Delfino if you use all recoil control attachments with flinch resistant and it easier to use it multiplayer
And some sort of acog to help ads
This is actually my favorite sniper rifle for multiplayer
I have to respect the Dragunov since it was the first gun I ever used in Modern Warfare
I’ve never really used the dragunov but I was once on a streak and ran out of ammo, the only weapon near by was a dragunov, so I picked it up and got 5 kills
I've waited for this one.
@@RB028 I did.
Mmmm...
Another guy
fredrb28 I’ve been waiting
When i grinded for platinium in sniper/makrsmen riffels, it suprised med how amasing the Dragunov is. And now they buffed it for 4 weeks ago, and its my to go sniper in multiplayer. When being so much faster than the other snipers, I win very often the sniper duels over and over again.
Was honeslty surprised when this became one of my favorite guns in the game, I dont even use the other snipers anymore. I love the Siberian Tiger variant and the plague sore is great too.
Finally dragunov under rated
This is the most underrated sniper rifle in the game. Barely anyone using it in multiplayer maps. It's like the only sniper rifle that everyone forgets or barely know it exist.
I like this Dragunov. It does exactly what you expect a Dragunov to do, and it does it very well.
you should review this guide because all the snipers now have one headshot full armor kill, this sniper is underrated and is very unforgiving because if you miss the headshot at 200 or 300 M it will break all armor plates, I'm having a lot of fun with people now in WZ
People who fail at this gun are the ones that get too trigger happy. Be it a follow-up shot or for a second kill, you need to wait a split second for the gun to re-center. When used with a little patience, this thing can mow down an entire team.
Except the enemy team will shoot the shit out of you by the time this crap re-centers.
I think for this to be a good sniper rifle especially in warzone is stopping power rounds
I used 510mm for fun and turned out to be filthy good at close-mid range.
Trust me it's still bad in warzone though
BleedingUranium hmmm it is not the svd. I think the svd is a larger caliber
BleedingUranium oops it is the svd drugnove
Getting rid of limb multipliers and lowering the recoil a lot would make it viable in warzone. They could also increase the fire rate because it wouldn’t affect regular multiplayer but would definitely help in warzone
One potential advantage in Warzone is if you land a hit on somebody who saw your scope glint, they'll probably assume you're using a .50, and they won't be expecting an immediate second shot
I personally love the Dragunov because of its fire rate. Always helpful in case the first shot doesn't do the job.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO AN IN DEPTH GUIDE ON DRAGUNOV
I really liked the bullet drop tests. You should do an episode showing the impacts of bullet drop on sipers using this testing format.
Im in love with using the dragonnov right now, such a good weapon personally if you can get that 1 kill shot.
This came right on time because this is the last sniper i have to get gold before platinum. Thanks!
Thanks for putting out this right after I finish all sniper levels.
I was dreading using this gun as part of the damascus grind. Expected a very poor sniper rifle but got a decent marksman rifle instead. I actually enjoy playing with it.
I like the DMR 150 rpm, I ignored this for so long, I love it. And I love the FAL.
Underrated gun,I have done well with a vlk sight on this
I always bring my trusty ol' dragunov into Warzone. with the AX 50 and HDR, you always have to repeek if you miss, but with the dragunov, I can keeps shooting at multiple targets and provide surpressing fire for my teammates so they can use their sniper rifle to take them out.
Finally gun guides for the SRs
@@primeministersinister625 I always wondered where those molotovs came from....
I gotta admit. Thank you. From a player that is trying to become a great sniper.
Dragunov:
EBR or SKS is better at being semi sniper, due to shitty recoil
If you want a sniper, use the HDR, Kar or AX50.
Just dont use it, even though it looks cool.
EBR is a headshot kill even at warzone, so if you are good dealing with bullet velocity then its a good counter sniper.
Maicon Bollico No it isnt in Warzone. Have you even watched the video lol
@@marktaekema3174 Im talking about the EBR not Dragunov
Maicon Bollico No? The EBR is not 1-shot headshot in WZ. There was a bug with a blueprint of the EBR that caused them, but they patched that. The EBR is never 1-shot headshot in Warzone on a full armor enemy.
@@marktaekema3174 ok
thanks for this!! been trying to get mine gold for a while not and always wondered why I had such a love hate relationship with it. But now I realize that I was trying to challenge people from ranges that I shouldn’t challenge them from. I always did better on midrange maps
Thanks i was just considering using this in warzone. This game needs the m110. Its a 7.62 sniper based on 7.62 Ar15.
Can you touch on the Kar again with this gun guide layout ... Love what your doing here!
I rarely see anyone use the dragonov in ground war so I would say yes it’s underrated
I wish that for once, this gun would be viable or good. It looks so cool but its just so bad.
tbh I didn't find it that bad. Hit markers are really annoying but I've had some really good runs with the dragunov as well. There's no other gun with the rof, round count, and range that can 1 shot to the chest. GW, 3.25x thermal, 15 or 20 round mag.
The dragunov was the best sniper against jugs
@Marko Jotic The game is Call of Duty. If the majority wanted a mil-sim, Escape Tarkov and Insurgency would be selling millions.
Call of Duty is great for the casual players. For some, it's the only video game they play. These developers have to make it a game that is easy to learn and very accessible to the casuals because they just want to play and shoot. IW already hit gold with this game. It's the best selling CoD.
It's a great gun, you have to learn to use it
It was one of my favorite guns in MW3. It frustrates me in this game though.
My Dragunov:
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: 660mm Extended
Optic: Thermal Dual Power
Stock: FTAC Hunter-Scout
Perk: FMJ
Max Damage, max range, quick target acquisition, maximum salt
Was just looking for this in the playlist
FTAC stalker scout increases aiming stability instead of hurting it as stated by UI. It's probably a bug, but it makes this attachment without any downsides like every other stock does.
"There are none" - 2 second video.
Call me crazy but I actually love this gun and really should be using it more than I have been.
You're crazy.
But also, I'm crazy. This is actually my favourite sniper. At the start I thought it was underwhelming, but then I got the plague sore blueprint, so I tried it again and I actually love it now.
The Polish at least you aren’t like me.... I rush people with the fn fal. But the fn is really good in warzone
@@tigershanty1217 indeed it is, try using frangable disabling on it. When people are crossing streets or fields just tap them in the leg and they become turtles for easy pickings
i_1nf0din yes and you can still get hits on pesky snipers on houses
this and the mauser are pretty satisfying to quick scope with albeit not being a good at quick scoping anyway i still get a smile from doing it
I typically have this gun kitted for maximum aim down sight speed and strafing.
If anyone knows what benefits the other rifles would have over the drag id love to know, im really not looking forward to going gold with them
Preferable setup: 660, muzzle brake or compensator, variable zoom scope, 15 round mag
Underrated weapon in multiplayer
Tbh I think the Dragunov is like the beginners sniper if they aren't used to it since the other 3 snipers aren't as forgiving with missing shots. Then again some say marksman rifles are just that when you can spam the fire button down a lane till the target is dead.
Thanks, asked for this a few days ago and its here now
You could put the bullet velocitybin the base stat if you can, because I find it really important for warzone. Nice video by the way as usual
I'm going to try this after the EBR. I would try it with the VLK 3x and helping the ADS and reload time as possible.
First gun gold. Absolutely awesome if you play in the sweet spot distance. I use the Plague Sore version with the 610mm barrel and tac laser. Guys give this gun a chance!
