Then the thunder crashed and the music started blasting and nearly took my head off. And it was awesome!
Playing a pre-rendered scene doesn't really require that much graphical power. If nothing else, the greater monitors might've added a bit more color, but that doesn't mean the great character models, details & motion was affected.

illidan in warcraft 3 was so much better than in wow. I liked this very idea that he was so controlled, with this calm voice and beautiful speech, it give him very pleased character. And then in Burning Crusade he appears like some monster, with green burning eyes, torn wings and sharp teeth... so disgusting was it really necessary?
Illidan, the best villain of all. He's not really evil, he's just...well, different. That's what makes a good villain to me, moral ambigouity (spelling).
Andreazor A bit like the story of Arthas. IMHO he too is not really a villain. He chose the path of evil "Sometimes the hand of fate must be forced" to destroy the greater evil (Burning Legion). Even if it meant sacrificing his humanity family, friends, fellowmen etc. etc. I believe Arthas was meant to be that way but the author just overdid it just for the sake of making an "epic boss". But don't take my word for it. Just an opinion, not a fact. True or not we're all entitled to our own opinions.

while reading the illidan novel , i could hear only this voice in my head , the new voice didn't even register , and i play wow.... , blizzard get your act togheter and get back this voice actor.

His taking the Skull of Gul'dan in WC3 was just further evidence to his brother that Illidan cared more about his own power than anything else. Also, see those lights the Naga are slithering towards in this cutscene? That's a Night Elf fishing village. It, and many others, were slaughtered by Illidan's orders. If you actually played the games you'd know why Illidan was always the villain.
I hope blizzard will realize they need to make more Warcraft expansions or they will remake the game itself. They can create this awesome video with great graphics, but they can also recreate Warcraft with the same heroes, same units, same artifacts. Maybe its a lot of work, but they worked really hard on creating WoW expansions and videos, so i think it won't be that hard.

I have replayed this game recently and is funny still today. For a game of 2003 the animations were really done well.
This is what I will always think of when people talk about naga--their very first appearance was genuinely terrifying.
