I think the so-called authentic products cannot explain anything. The real authentic products are what you have in your heart. The bags bought on *regbags* have the same quality as the authentic products, and the prices are cheap and the after-sales service is guaranteed. When you start to become confident, you will care about these external authentic products.
I love your luxury bag "rehabs". I could watch them all day long. You could one day start a business in repairing luxury bags, which is quite lucrative. This was another great result!
I'm a reseller and trying to get more into the higher end items. Somehow, I find good items with bad issues. I have recently come upon your videos and I feel so much more confident that I can "save those bad kids" and make them good again. Thanks for all the information!! I'm definitely a subber, now!
Wow, a girl after our hearts! We’re a Whatnot seller and we rehab a lot of bags before sharing them with our audience. So glad you found such a great bag. Congrats! Hope to see you over there. 😊
I LOVE this beauty - this gorgeous Gucci bag. You have brought this nag BACK to it's former glory! AND you got it for such a BARGIN ... incredible! 🎉🎉🎉
Hey, the bag is beautiful. I do the same thing. I rehab bags, sneakers and boots. I use leather dye as well. I use paint brushes it easier.I found a gucci boston bag from the Goodwill Bins for 2.00. I was so excited. I have so many luxury bags that I find from Thifting.
Before watching your video, I was discussing handbags with a friend. I was criticizing BV's design, saying it was bad and expensive. But I like *hotdups* . I bought the same one. Everyone said it was not good. Actually, I think it is OK. I am used to it. I am very happy with your explanation. It is the first time I heard someone criticize their design. It is a very real thought.
Best leather products ever, saw someone else dye white boots to black, would never have known any change occurred. Don’t know about other brands but rehabilitated leather saddles, yes this is the one.😊😊
Yes! Please do make more of these restoration luxury bags please please! I have a couple of LV I would like to bring back to life. I've been nervous to do it myself and just don't want to spend $$$$ on someone else doing it. Watching you gives me the motivation and lessens the nerves to give it a try. I would love to see how you would clean the inside of a bag as well. I have a Damier Azur Propriano Handbag that I have worn to death and needs some good cleaning - canvas, braided leather handles, and the beautiful light pink interior.... oh and the matching wallet too!!! Help!!! lol.
Angelus also makes paintable leather filler that is great for filling scratches that are too deep to buff out with Leather CPR and for the small nicks in the corners.
I think of expensive bags Ive donated because i had no idea how to fix them. Nice job with this cute bag! This also makes me think that what we are paying for is the brand, not necessarily quality. 😮
You planted the seed for me to buy *hotdups* , which is very textured. The last LV, I don’t get what’s so good about it, and I can’t put my phone in it😂, wouldn’t it be nice to buy some second-hand bags?
Awesome video!! I need to dye a Fossil bag but I am going to try coloured leather polish first cause its cheaper and I can mix to colour match. I will let ya know how it turns out.
Do you have to seal the stained leather anyway? Or a conditioner or anything to set the stain? The bag looks great! Wonderful work on the worn areas of the canvas and edge coat.
I once spilled nail polish remover all over a maroon leather ottoman. I bought a matching cream-type shoe polish that worked beautifully and was permanent.
Hi Rachel, I’ve watched a couple of your videos and I you’ve shared that you film the POV with Meta glasses - do you just straight crop the portrait footage to landscape? I bought some Meta glasses for UA-cam and I just find the image pretty grainy when I crop it, even if I try and upscale it. Would love to know what you do with your footage as it looks great! Thanks 🙏 😊
I do just crop the image. I use wondershare filmora to edit. I edit the project in 29 fps and the glasses record in 50fps so I've yet to have grainy images. Remember while you're recording that you'll be cropping so focus on just that one spot and pull your hair back
@@RachelStrickland I've done some digging and my glasses film in 30fps and for the life of me I can't find a setting to change it to 50fps! 😵 Do you know how you got yours to film in 50fps? Thanks! :)
@phoenixfurniturestudio okay i know they came out with 2 versions so far. The meta being the second. Mine are the meta. Sounds like yours are too. Ive only ever done the updates my app requests. Have you downloaded all the updates?
She's definitely going in my collection but I would mention it but only to brag. Lol. I'm kidding, I think if it was stain alone, no big need to mention. If it's paint or polish, you better mention it.
@@RachelStrickland yes thank you. i was re-habing some fossil bags and was wondering if i need to mention it but then i also read that if its re-painted then value of bag goes down, so definitely you are right and it must be mentioned.
So...aren't there cases where distressed leather makes a statement? Like what about updating hardware piping and Monogram leather but leaving distressed pink? I just paid (sale) retail for a distressed leather jacket at Nordstrom that looks just like that but in black. I guess it would just be a personal preference to leave it or not. I'm just wondering if it could be a cool aesthetic. Or if leaving it distressed doesn't pull off a look.
I think that’s true. I got a distressed RL leather jacket and we offer some vintage Gucci pieces that have some distressed leather in our Whatnot shop. But I think it’s just a preference.
How pretty is this shade of Pink!? It's called "light rose"

My dream would be traveling to Japan for broken and busted luxury goods, bringing them back and restyling them.
@@RachelStrickland you should do that. People would love it

Oh yay! I'm excited someone else wants to save these items too!
I had no idea that you can re-edge coat a bag! This is awesome. ❤
It’s a game-changer!
I think you do an amazing job with all of these items! So many people would just leave them on a shelf or throw them away…you give them a new life!
Thank you! That means a lot
She is GORGEOUS!! Happy Valentine’s Day to YOU!!♥️💕
Grea job👏👏 You have such a steady hand and a talented eye for blending!!! Beautiful work! 🥰

Just followed you and bookmarked your upcoming shows! I'm the same name and profile pic on whatnot! 😃
Since I started watching your videos I stated going on what not! The bag came out beautifully
I have learned so much from your videos❤❤❤. Amazing work, please continue these xoxoxox

Sound like you have some thrifting advntures! I found a versace hat once and a gucci belt at the thrift.

Awesome Job! Looks Brand New!
Oh my goodness Rachel, what a beautiful rehab job you did on this bag…I just love the pink color! Keep those rehab videos coming girl!😁👍🏻
Thanks! I have some much fun making these

Absolutely love your channel! I have dipped half of my baby toe into the water of restoring bags and your channel is helping me so much! Thank you!
That's awesome! Also welcome! I'm super glad you're here and thanks for restoring what some would cast aside.
I love, love, love this bag. I collect vintage coach. I don’t have anything Gucci. I love pink🩷🩷🩷🩷 awesome job!
I also collect vintage coach! That unlined leather is unmatched!
ANOTHER GREAT BAG REHAB! SO VIBRANT AND BEAUTIFUL!
I love it too! I'm glad you think it's beautiful.
Great job- beautiful outcome Rachel! 🎉
Thank you so much! I’m so happy with the way it turned out.
I love watching your videos! You inspired me to rehab 3 of my vintage Gucci bags and they are AMAZING now! Definitely dye the wallet!!
I love that you're inspired to rehab your own bags! That's such s high compliment!
What a beautiful job!🤗

I love rehab!!! I got two luxury wallets for $20 LV and Cartier score!. The LV needs work🥰
Ohhhh cartier metal pieces are often gold!
@@RachelStrickland I found a seller on whatnot he has great luxury pieces vintage need TLC so much cheaper than eBay or Posh🥰
Amazing job 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much!
Wow, great work!!
Don’t forget to wipe the excess off and sealed the paint!
I have some angelus finisher. You're right. I need to add that to the corners. Thank you.
Love love love this handbag. Do you repair bags for people?
Maybe one day but not for now

Honestly! This bag was too new to have faded like that
Yes please do your video on the beige wallet to match your pink purse and just so you know i will be watching thanks
It's a very different material so here's hoping i can do it. 🤞

Interesting! Let me know how it comes out!
Is it possible to bring back the shine (patina) to Brahmin bags. I have several, & they all get flat and dull looking. Love your videos. Thanks.
Have you ever tried leather cpr? It's a pretty great product to clean and condition leather
Do you have to seal the stained leather anyway? Or a conditioner or anything to set the stain? The bag looks great! Wonderful work on the worn areas of the canvas and edge coat.
You're right, I should totally go over it with leather cpr. Thanka
Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Your necklace is gorgeous! May I ask where you got it?
I once spilled nail polish remover all over a maroon leather ottoman. I bought a matching cream-type shoe polish that worked beautifully and was permanent.
Amazing job, what kind of paints did you use for the taupe/beige/brown parts at the edges? It looked like acrylic.
It's literally 50c acrylics from wal mart. I'm going to invest in some angelus paints soon.
@@RachelStrickland the bag came out perfect, you did an amazing job. Keep on doing more.
If you printed out a Gucci tag and put that on it would pass for brand new from the store. Great job.
Stop it! You're so kind
Tape the canvas first, it makes things a lot easier for some people 😂

Did you have to rehab the strap?
I had this same thought while editing. I had put it on my louis vuitton alma and I need to go see if it needs a stain coat too....
If you re sale it will you mention that it was re-painted?

The only thing REAL IS YOUR SOUL! Everything made out of material ends up in the landfill as TRASH!
God Bless!
Amen. We can still be good stewards of the material while we are here.
Would a tiny artist’s brush have worked better than a q-tip?
The tool they recommend is like...this cone shaped metal piece with grooves. I'll have you get one for future videos
