Here's how a business that cares about customer service would handle it: you take pictures of the damage the day it's delivered to you (they know when if tracked), they take a security deposit on your credit card for another one of the same item, mail it to you at their expense, once you receive it, you send them a picture of the good one and they release the security deposit. IF you return the damaged one, they credit your account with 15% towards another purchase.
I’m not a huge fan of BBTS due to their high prices, but the few times I have bought from them, there has been zero issues. I buy brand new or preorder items. Never have been drawn to buy anything on clearance or discount price. Because as I would assume these are normally the items with issues. And I hear you saying you bought the substandard option for this item, you can’t really be mad at them.
I’ve never once gotten anything damaged from them all my rider stuff has always gotten it in amazing condition and you didn’t even show the product only a box that’s barely even dangled
I once ordered a nearly $100 figure from them, the Amazing Yamaguchi Wonder Woman. When I opened it, one of the legs was broken. Upon contacting them and sending photos, they refunded me the $100, albeit in store credit, and told me to just keep the figure. That bought my loyalty, they've always been good.
I've never had an issue with BBTS. They always either refund or get you a new figure. Also, you bought a substandard grade one, why are you surprised? If you want good condition then choose the good condition option. If you really want perfect condition then choose that option.
