The last minute of this performance is so powerful, emotional, raw that it touches me EVERY time as if it was the first.
Das einzig Gute daran, dass ich nicht live dabei sein konnte, ist, dass man nicht sieht, wie im Publikum einer Rotz und Wasser weint. Glen Hansard singt scheinbar ohne jeden Schutz und entwaffnet seine Zuhörer damit in Sekunden.
Einer meiner musikalischen Helden. Ich bin so dankbar das er diese Gefühle weitergeben kann! Einfach nur love.

I feel there’s a comparison to be made between seeing a Van Gough with your own eyes, and hearing Glen Hansard live. You can appreciate one or the other without actually being there, but to experience it in person sheds an entirely different light. His voice echos, amplifies and resonates in a way that I can’t compare to another living artist. I was lucky enough to see him a few times in the days when the audience was sixty people in a small back room of a pub, and those were magical times. But as magical as they were, it has been beautiful to see his transition in songwriting, life skill, and experience. Whether it be sixty people or a thousand, Glen has always tirelessly had a way to make it seem like he is singing directly to you; and THAT is the difference between a musician and an artist.
I am so in love. What talent. He's right up there with Joni Mitchell, and Leonard Cohen.
no he is not, he is the guy from the commitments.......about as deep as a paddling pool, and as far away from leonard cohen as you could get----perfect for simple people, who buy his act.....
@@wayfarer691 matter of opinion. I love him. Perhaps I overstated a bit but he has heart. Saw him in concert. He is so soulful.
@@Crow5853 No you did not. Glem has written great songs and he's a fantastic performer... Not an act!! The real deal, some simpletons just don't understand that.

Abgesehen von der Wahnsinns Performance von beiden Künstlern muss auch einfach mal gesagt werden, dass die Tontechniker gezaubert haben. Einfach irre! Ganz ganz dickes Kompliment.
