Even after 2 years, it's still a great phone, which has got Android 11 update recently. Battery wear is also pretty small considering such time. My model is a red one.

Too much effort to change the battery... But your video is enlightening! I have Honor View 20, 4 years and it's still 🔥🔥. The only problem is the battery won't last even half a day... Maybe I will replace it, or buy a new phone, but I am totally happy with this phone! It was the best choice made, and I got it in a very good price... I Hope Honor still make so good phones, because my next cellphone will be Honor again!

This is how you run a heatpipe around the battery, not under it, like the Poco F1, there's noo need to move heat from the chipset to the battery, I prefer throttling instead of battery wear.
True, the battery alone generates heat, wouldn't be best to add more heat to it.
What good cooling system poco or honor v20?

They are usually just held down with adhesive, you can heat up the earpiece and gently pry it off.

Interesting they used the battery out of the Huawei p30 Pro. Just watched a disassembly video of that phone. I own that phone. I thought it was a different company that made it until I asked at a phone shop. Does anybody own a honor view20? The battery life is awesome on the p30 Pro especially as its on high performance mode. Camera is awesome too. Just came over from the Samsung galaxy S7. Great phone that was too in my opinion.
ya I've seen same type of battery be used on other model phones before as well, sometimes its cheaper for them to do it that way instead of having a special battery manufactured for a specific phone. I don't see it all the time but every now and then I see that happening :)

@@wayez88 Not sure, they didn't advertise it with an ip rating but that doesn't mean they didn't take steps to keep it water resistant. certifying it for ip rating is somewhat expensive so maybe they didn't want to pay for it, not sure.

What are those black films intended for? Cooling?
The adhesive holds down the back plate of the phone and yes helps prevent dust from getting in as well as deters water from getting in easily. I see one antenna but not sure about the rest. As for the black films/tapes I am not sure if there for cooling or for some sort of interference prevention etc. Not too sure what they are used for on this specific phone, but I do know similar looking cooling pads have been used before on different phones however those cooling pads looked a bit different. So yep.

Yea its held in place with adhesive you would need to just pry it off.

I'm confused, so where's the "Liquid Cooling System" that Honor was advertising for their Honor View 20?
It only has a 3D heat pipe that has some liquid vapors inside you can see the pipe @6:30 in the video. No 3D vapor chamber or anything like that.
What's the white cable on the right side of the battery that runs along with the frame?
I believe its an antenna cable.

It will but if you open the camera app, it might freeze and you would need to manually close the app.

Sir I broke my screen of my 1 month old Honor view 20, the screen glass is scattered but the touch and display are fully functional.
I don't have money as of now to repair it, so will the broken glass do damage in the long run on LCD panel. Please help me in this matter.
U see any graphic and LCD is not damege so u use otg and mouse

It requires special tools and experience plus its almost never as good as just getting a complete assembly.

Hi, if you are referring to the earpiece speaker, its held on with adhesive just heat it up a bit with a hair dryer and pry it off gently.

You might have to take apart the phone and make sure all the cables are in place and nothing has been disconnected from a fall or something similar. It's also possible water got in and shorted the flex cable for the buttons in which you would need to replace the flex cable for the buttons. From which I remember, I think the screen has to be pried off to gain access to the buttons flex cable.

Not sure exactly what you mean. You mean when you move the cable it stops charging? if that's the case, you would need to replace the charger port board.

No you will be fine. That's just graphite film to help transfer heat.
