Hi Poppy!. You cut with black blade? How you deal with the glue on the matt? The glue is so strong that are ripping off my paper when I pull it. Oh my! Can you hellp me? Love the video ❤
Hi there thanks for watching,I really appreciate it. I use the auto blade that comes with the machine. With regards to the glue on the mat, you can put a clean t- shirt and rub it over the mat to get some of the stickiness off. I hope this helps!
Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment, I really appreciate it. Yes the Scan N Cut will take materials up to 3mm thick. Regarding whether you should go for a thinner sticker, it is completely up to your personal preference and what kind of finish you would like your stickers to have, and where you want to put them. The choice is yours! I hope this has been helpful. :-)
Thabks for sharing this video i enjoyed watching it. I have a question, whats the difference between getting laminate paper to put on top compared to buying the gloss printable paper as thats waterproof aslwell.
Hi there. No sticker paper is 100% waterproof. However, if you apply a laminate on top, it provides extra protection. In my video, I used a matte sticker paper, so applying the laminate was warranted to make the sticker paper more waterproof. As for glossy printable vinyl sticker paper would be waterproof-ish on it's own. If you want to be extra sure you can add the extra laminate. Personally, I wouldn't bother for the glossy printable vinyl. Each to their own on that one. I hope this was helpful.
Gday poppy from qld, where did you get the laminate from, you said we could use normal laminate, i tried this morning and it got stuck in my laminated, as the glue on the back of sticker sheet melted, aaaarrrggg what am i doing wrong….so keen to make stickers..have an awesome day xx
Sorry to hear it's not working for you. A couple of things come to mind that may be the issue. Firstly, does your autoblade need replacing? If it is an older blade you may need to replace it. You may need to manually change the blade depth. m.ua-cam.com/video/wNjAOrT10uE/v-deo.html Try out this method of changing the blade depth to help out. I hope this helps! Let me know how you go. 🙂
Great video! I love watching the scan and cut tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it 😊

Thanks for the tips. I will try 😊
The blue low tack mat is what I use for any paper products.
Will the ScanNCut take 3mm film? It seems to be the easiest to find. Will that thickness make a good sticker, or should I go thinner?

Perfect, that makes sense. Thank you
You are most welcome! Thanks again for watching, I really appreciate it.
The black still smears whether it's glossy or not

Sorry for such a late reply! I got my laminate from Amazon. You don't need a laminating machine for it, it has a sticky side ready to go.
I am losing my mind over this. I cannot get it to cut through to the sticker paper. It just cuts through the laminate. Advice please!
