Ther is great story about David Rodigan ( try to find documentary about it) when he had his first gig ...hall was full of jamaicans, black people who was expecting to see that person,radio selector,person who was THE VOICE of reagge and dancehall music...And guess what - They didn know that he was the white guy 🤣
He's of German blood moved to Jamaica when he was two ,late fifties ,moved to southern England in the 80s I think but carried on recording at channel 1 🍀🇬🇧👍🏼
