Everything about old mad city was so refreshing, the sounds of leveling up, the pyramid heist being such a hard and daring heist that you risk losing your jetpack and ability to, the infinite fuel jetpack, Cluckdonalds, all the other bosses were ok but Cluckdonalds was so amazing, the og criminal base, the sound the ship made when it came its all just amazing and Mad city threw it away for the future and now the games dead because of it
Chapter 2 is what killed madcity. Jailbreak had absolutely nothing to do with the downfall. The game didn't get updated for 6 months and yet it was hitting 10k players, 5x more than today
I miss the mechs
jailbreak did nothing to make mad city lose, the only thing he did was not give up his position, and Schwifty Studios made a cancerous mistake, namely the release of the second chapter

okay, jailbreak did not made mad city quit, it was mad city's own self who quitted. It's sad how chapter 2 version has so much potential to be the best heist game at peak, but due to demotivation shown by the developers/coders, the game has reach it's downfall. bugs and no content updates was the reason for the downfall, not jailbreak. jailbreak had nothing to do with the downfall of mad city, instead they were working on the game they had and tried making it better. in my opinion, mad city will still be my favorite game but i cannot see the game like back then.
Sadly mad city main coder has kinda quit and only works on some projects. So it’s super hard for them to release updates. It’s actually sad to think because Mad City had so much potential… 😢

without even watching, i know that jailbreak didnt kill mad city as an enemy, mad city just killed itself due to no/bad updates. Mad City has been my favorite game back then
Well, Mad City had a lot of potential to be a good game, but sadly, it was too late, By the time they released Season 3 last month, it just lost more players than it gained during the update.
No one wants to play the game nowadays because of the amount of bugs in the game, the awful optimization and because Jailbreak already exists, so there is simply no need to play Mad City over Jailbreak.
Most of the OG players have just quit Mad City since they became older, so they moved on to Jailbreak or even GTA Online.
And also Jailbreak is pulling into Season 20 by next month and Jailbreak has a bigger map, more robberies, a lot of more stuff to do, so Mad City doesn't need to exist nowadays.
Season 3 clearly didn't revive Mad City. Nowadays, you can't expect quick updates to the game like they used to do when there's only one full-time programmer working on the game.

the reason i play madcity now is because, in jailbreak its mainly only sweats who play the game, yet in madcity everyone is with you, and when a police or hero kills a criminal all the other criminals get mad cause they just wanna rob stuff
For my opinion mad city was super refreshing when u have the boss, the best supercar , friends , the old military base , youtuber who was playing mad city but when the chapiter 2 come everything was bad like u went to the airport to take ur plane like wtf. personally i want to mad city chapiter 1 comeback bc i love it so muchhh
okay so in terms of player count on weekends jailbreak peaks at 20k, prison life peaks at 6k, and mad city peaks at 2k.

If you played JB you would know the police are the opposite of OP and in mad city they’re straight up useless
i feel like no one ever mentions the mad city weaponised vehicles.
they have lots ranging from fighter jets to a car with a explosive harpoon on it. i feel like its adds a lot to the game in terms of replayability.

Te przesadzone auta , to dlatego nad city upadło , to samo w GTA online , nie da się grać ponieważ zaraz ktoś opancerzony przyjdzie cię zabić . Ludzie nie szukają gry z takimi rzeczami np opancerzenie , lasery , bomby w pojazdach tylko coś typu jailbreak , i dlatego jb żyje.
Nostalgia is overrated at this point. OG Fortnite had the biggest amount of players returning to Fortnite, but so did chapter 5 after it. Prison life don’t have nostalgia as it’s been the exact same since 2017

No nostalgia is the reason jailbreak lost its player ( including me ) I don’t recognise the game anymore the map is way to unfamiliar they changed the prison was the biggest thing for me

Mad city Chapter 1 was a thing that the devs shut out because of reasons that i dont know why
chapter 2 had so much potential but it sadly failed.
In mad city ch 2 when i was on a vip server I got out of the resort as a criminal and there were police fireing pistols at me
tried getting back into mad city a week ago but any time i left the crim base i was getting carpet bombed by multi million jets and tanks not even joking

True story of Mad City (Dark side)
People don't like Mad City bc of the realistic physical engine, It is too real that u can't perform special tricks, like the boost to fly on JailBreak or the wall jump with Light bike on JailBreak.
Back in Mad City CH1, there are a lot of glitches, which players like them. But after the CH2 rollout, everything changed, anti-cheat prevented players from doing wall clip glitches etc, and most of the players engaged in exploits which allowed them to teleport and farm money. With 5~6K players playing, 3~4K players have used an exploit at least once. At that time, Mad City made an Anti-Cheat which prevents players from firing events to the server, 80% of the scripts are patched. Mad City lost 1/4 of the players. Then they are back because scripters fixed the exploit. But in the end of August, there was a fight between script hubs, and one of the script hub (A) stole scripts from another script hub (B). Then for some reason, script hub (B) quite. Script hub (A) can no longer steal script from script hub (B), so there are no updates till then.
Thanks to Roblox and SynapseX, they made anti cheat for roblox, they cure the problem of exploit from the root. Mad City lost most of their players.

Can someone please make mad city chapter 2 come back up and be the best because that was the only game I ever played. Now I don’t play Roblox anymore because nothing else is fun that old mad city so please tell the developers to try again and keep trying and try to make there be more developers in the game. It will be amazing if someone does and if you do you are the best person ever. Please and if you do tell the developers and people thank you so much.

I remember when 4-5 years ago (not sure) mad city was my favorite game , this game had huge potential. I really loved so much more mad city because of mechanic of becoming villian and diffirent types of vehicles , like before jailbreak had (in my opinion) kinda boring vehicles , like omg its 25th some sport car soo cool... meanwhile mad city had tanks , jets , cars with mounted driver controled guns , hover boards etc.

If you're looking for a great game to play, try Dawn of Aurora, its a cops and robbers game that won a bloxy, it has insane Cyberpunk 2077 like graphics, a lot of guns and vehicles to choose from and great heists. Honestly the most underrated game on Roblox imo, much better than Jailbreak or Mad City.

I just don’t get it, people say they want Nostalgia, but what people really want is thier old memories on jailbreak, if you look at jailbreak now vs then it’s a massive change, but that’s a good thing, the robbery’s are better, the vehicles are way more detailed, there’s no easy way for Asimo to add back old things, in fact I personally don’t find myself missing “old jailbreak” an anytime I do miss it it’s not because of the lack of things to do, it’s because we want the friends & memories of 2019 back
