A very special town. It has a fabulous market on Saturdays. It's a big attraction in the area. I think you are experiencing the most awesome places. Enjoy and keep sharing. We love it!
Thank you so much, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed our video! 🤩 Sedgefield is an awesome place with fantastic people, we had such a fun time exploring the town. 🌊 It sounds like you're watching from afar, we have lots of videos of South Africa for you to enjoy.
@@DustBugsTravel hi ya, tnx for the reply. I have been watching them and really enjoy your local flair and love for stations and churches. I dont have a motorcar at the moment, but you guys make it ok, I can travel with you, and around what I consider my favourite parts of SA. We come from GTN and I grew up going with my dad to farms in the holidays he taught at St Andrew,s Prep, in those days alot of farmers sons were at Prep(what we called our school) and dad would be invited to stay on different farms each holiday. Karoo mostly, Good memories
@@DustBugsTravel You got all the oppertunity. Please give some facts about the most, dont just 'WOW', we do not want just a drive thru and comments about the fast foods. Do proper research. You make this journey common.
@@jacobmostert5362 I don't understand why you still watch our channel if you don't enjoy what we do. 🤷🏼♂ Be very sure that we will continue doing our videos the way we want to and not to appease you. Interesting choice of word, common.
Love this area, our "family beach house" is in Brenton-on-Sea, nice town to buy our day-to-day needs, abundance of parking, especially in the busy Desember month
We were in Sedgefield stayin with family. A very nice place with a very nice (craft) market on the Saterdays. Next year we're planning a long roadtrip through South Africa so Sedgefield will defenitaly be in the Garmin destinations!.
It was literally a we-can-see-forever view! It's an astonishingly beautiful part of the world with all the forests, lakes, mountains and the ocean. They truly have it all! 🌳⛰️
Its brak water "tea stained" by the wood tannins. The mouth of the river is salty right up to the boat launch and depending on the tide that comes and goes. Warm water to swim in. I caught my very first fish there when I was 6. Five in one day, beginners luck!
Thank you for the interesting info! So Sedgefield clearly has a special meaning for you as well. 🐠🐟 We also love the place and will definitely go back!
We made a brief stop in Graaff-Reinet in Episode 162, that may give you some ideas. If I remember correctly, there are 100+ national monuments in town. It being the sixth oldest town in the country, the history runs very deep. The Dutch Reformed Church is an architectural masterpiece and a must-visit, so is the Nqweba Dam and Camdeboo National Park on the outskirts of town. 💒🌊🦌 They also have a Tourism Office in town which should be able to guide you further. Safe and happy travels! 🚙😁
Kurt's, would you please stop sticking your body into caves you about give me a heart attack every time you go on your wanders lol great vlogs, and the scenery is stunning. Your vlogs are well done and your knowledge and commentaries with Sonja yourself. Please let know that when you get up to your hi jinx I am with her lol
Sonia also gets very nervous when I go into caves, but I just find them so intriguing and I can't help myself! 😁 I'm so glad to hear you enjoy our videos. Sedgefield was a wonderful stop, they really understand the concept of slow living. I'd like to adopt that lifestyle too! 🚗🌊
