PUTENI ICHIMWELA VICTORY DOCUMENTARY

Featuring behind the scenes footage of the Sakala Brothers and Dennis Liwewe creating the Victory Version of the song Puteni Ichimwela, and fan celebrations on the day the Africa Cup 2012 champions, the Chipolopolo brought the trophy home to Zambia. Scenes from the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and the route to and from the airport as well as the main arena at the Lusaka Showgrounds.

Mufulira Wanderers "Ichipolopolo" was untouchable in thev 60's, 70's and 80's. Tolomeo Mwansa-Juva as goalkeeper, Emmanuel Mungule, Patrick Nkole-peugot,, Abraham Nkole- Golden Banks, Edward Nkole- Kaipole(The three Brothers), Dickson Makwaza- Barbed Wire, George Sikazwe, Robertson Zulu, Thomas Bwalya- Mosquito, Dick Chama, Bernard Chanda_ Black Pele, Samuel Zoom Ndholvu, Eford Chabala, Ashos Melu, Fredrerick Kashimoto- Fele, Kulusha Bwalya- Wizard, Zile Mwashomwa, Tshikala, Alex Chola and many more players that led Shinde Stadium to be on the map! It was football at its best.
