The funny thing is I don't play dungeons of dragons but books like these and many other dungeons and dragons books have amazing inspirational settings, a great source of ideas for a writer like myself. I don't understand why that is but it is true, most worlds in these books are amazingly creative.
I love your reviews.
You always seem to have you finger on the pulse of the best and highest quality books in gaming. Thanks for sharing this.
I can't wait to check it out myself.
I got the pdfs of the first two a while back and thought so highly of them, that I bought them again in POD! I even adjusted my own setting to include the Moss Dwarf.
kinda sad that these are no longer able to be purchased (though luckily dolmenwoods full release from the kickstarter is not far off)
Great video! These look fantastic. However, after reading over the official website. I think I'm going to wait for campaign setting book. They say it will be coming out this year 2020.
Thanks very much for the detailed review! Issue #4 should please you greatly!

I really like that Common Tavern Fare table
it's like we never left
You have a very interesting channel, sir! I like it
These are now abou $10 each. That is $80.00 for an incomplete setting. Is it worth that much (for example, you can get Dragon Age, rules, setting, bestairy and Map for $60.00)
Good point. Also how much time would you want to spend running around some small-ish forrest? That said, the pdf bundle costs $54 which is more reasonable if you happen to like the funky setting. Not sure about the 1 God aspect of the setting though. Seems a bit limiting.
Lord what are they worth now though?
@@eyehatescottNothing is available now. I imagine that when the new setting becomes widely available they will drop in price.
@@captainnolan5062 this is correct. My u derstanding is Gavvin has pulled all issues and closed /locked the patreion. The kickstarter should be hitting I January
@@km6qxe776 I am looking forward to the kickstarter!
this setting reminds me of record of lodoss war.
Does the new Dolmenwood campaign setting book come with all of the content in these zines?
I believe that most of the content should be getting adapted into it in some form. But I'd imagine it will be revised, with some sections changed / removed etc.
yea I am pretty sure that the majority of things are going to be included, some of it already is such as the tavern food and hex descriptions, I am really excited for the wip pdfs to get sent out so I can start running it lol@@Syndicate_01
great video, as usual
