Very interesting topic, the concept of these lost and destroyed civilisations both xeno and human is some of my favourite. We know little about the 60 million years between the end of the war in heaven and mankind’s rise, the thousands of civilisations and empires that may have come and gone in that time always make me think on how the Imperium, in the grand scheme of things is merely a footnote.
The music is fine. I remember, in a Heresy book, an empty planet with a ladder leading to an underground chamber that had a model of Terra sitting on a table in it? Did I imagine that? I'm sure you'd appreciate that though.
That is something mentioned in another mystery one of these I did. I don't remember particularly myself if it's the same one we are both recalling here. I love there being these little bits of a lost past.
Thanks. That's what I was hoping for. The reason for that is because I have not watched other 40k Lore channels. I don't have much to learn from them. And I feared for years just becoming annoyed at inaccuracies any of the channels being casual about the lore may have in them. And I wanted to create a place with as close to accurate lore as I can. This idea for a channel was in my head awhile and I knew it must be unique since I wasn't watching any of the other lore channels, so there wasn't a chance I was copying them. Glad you picked up on that. Thanks for spending some time here.
Mate, I’m sorry. I was really trying to get through the video but the music made it impossible. It’s either too loud or too distracting, I cannot say but I gave up after 6 minutes. All best, hope you get it sorted one day.
Check your speakers or how you set up your sound setting like equilizer board. I tried this on my phone, laptop and head phones. Had to adjust bass slightly other than that maybe you have super good hearing
One of my homebrew chapters, the Spears of Dorn are based on the border of the Halo Stars. So definitely going to have to write some stuff with them in this region.
great video, unique topic. look into using side chain compression during the segments where you have both your voice and music, it helps with clarity a lot.
Well you sold me on playing Rogue trader. As for the narration, the level was good, and you speak well and evenly just try to eliminate the long pauses. Maybe write down your script and read from it a few times until you no longer need those long pauses. Good job on the lore, it was informative. Currently reading the lords of mar trilogy.
Thanks for your thoughts. I wasn't aware at first Rogue Trader was taking place in the Halo Stars but it makes sense from a blank canvas to work with POV. Definitely makes me more interested too. Not sure how much of what I talked about is in it or not. Curious to find out.
yeah, wish it was "more" finished. ACT3 feels like ACT2's intermission, and I only did two quests and two companion quests in ACT4. ACT5 is... even shorter. Sad, but I have hope they rewrite, or at least finish, the game. The potential of the Kuronous Expanse and that of a Rogue Trader is immense, much greater than what RT has proffered so far. Sad, considering how good Wrath of the Righteous was... RT feels thin
Great video, very informative. I like to put these types of lore dives on while I work so the time was a good amount to keep me focused on my task without having to stop and find another video or queue up a couple. So I appreciate your effort in making it a little lengthier. +1 like and follow. I’ll be back for more 🫵😉
Better with no music. I like how Sandman narrated his videos. Wolf Lord Rho is also top narrator of WH40k content. Just copy them. Thanks for your work.
I have never watched other creators in 40k lore spaces. My intent was to start with something I know was my own original ideas. I did not want to start this looking like I was blatantly copying someone else's methods or style.
Ur content is really good I just found this hard to listen to personally the music didnt drown you out but was distracting for me anyway to the point I was just going to give up but after reading some of the comments I adjusted my settings which made it a lot better for me there was just a lot going on this is just my view nothing more

Loud part of the music doesn't last past the 4 minute mark from what i seen. I think he gets it boys.

A flat map representing a 3d space and terra being the center of the map when it moves around another center not its own the map just hurts my brain.
