Hi there! Just wanted to congratulate you a on a successful trip to France. It's been on my mind and there youtube KNOWS it's on my mind, so every so often it shows me a video like yours of somebody I've never seen. Very adventurous for you to take the trip despite not being as mobile as you wanted. At first I thought, is she just continually filming from scooters? But you did it! And I'm glad you were able to find some relief at the beach. But I'll tell you, I've been watching these videos shot in France and I keep asking myself; is it the clarity of the air, the cameras, or just the colors of France? It all looks unreal. I do see some “regular” footage, but I see so much super vibrant imagery I find it hard to believe. You easily have 5 or 6 scenes you could take a still-shot and just frame for a wall or make book cover.
I was wondering if you might share the cost of the trip per person? How did you find the ABNB? You two look so young, do you get carded alot? How did you know what to budget to save for the trip? What was your favorite place you ate? Did you do any art or journaling there? What souvenirs did you buy? I really enjoyed the vlog, it looked so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ahh I don't remember the exact amount unfortunately - but prices in terms of food and accommodations were very much comparable to the US. In terms of the airbnb, I just booked everything a bit in advance as places get booked up especially in the summer. We didn't drink alcohol so not quite sure about getting carded. Didn't get to do a lot of journaling, but in terms of souvenirs I bought a lot, including a handwoven bag and some jewelry. Thanks for your comment!!
Thank you for the detailed vlog, the kids and I are going this Summer. Can i please have the name/contact details of Air'nB in Nice, the view was everything?
Must admit, I'm not a huge fan of Nice. You could also stay in Menton (last town before the Italian border) or possibly Beaulieu or Villefranche are worth looking at.
@@cupcake150911 You're welcome...It's worth mentioning that if you're going to use French public transport, it's frequently on strike. It's worth checking, but a lot of the time there is no notice that a strike is going to happen. Also, Menton is where the Italian border is. You could go over to Ventimiglia, which, is not a great place, but they have a great food market there all week. Freshly made Ravioli, Pasta etc.
Its awesome that you didn't let your injury stop you from traveling. I have never heard of a handicap beach. That is amazing though.
