Hi! Found your channel by chance and i really love your work! Your approach to the dolls restoration is accurate but simple! That's what i really appreciate the most! ❤Thanks for sharing!😊
Those knees and freckles are too perfect. At a doll store getting advice yesterday (about the flocked faces of Briarberry Bears and not about clothes but I think it might help), I was suggested effervescent denture tablets and I think it helped w my bears’ clothing as well.
So I definitely use WAY TOO MUCH oxyclean. I'm glad to know that a little goes a long way. But isn't it wonderful to see the difference from a good soak hehe
Can you explain how to fix doll hair with ironing? I burned my doll’s hair a little and it did not burn badly. Rather, the burning affected the softness of her hair, so her hair became coarse and thick. I hope you can solve this problem for me. I am one of your biggest fans. I watch you every morning. 🥹💚
@2jic3 Aw, thank you so much for watching!! 💕 So, if her hair is heat damaged, I would try soaking it in fabric softener for about 10 minutes then take it out and rinse, then massage in some conditioner then rinse well again. Then gently comb with a wide toothed comb starting at the ends. Then let it dry naturally. That should soften it up again. But if it doesn't let me know and we can re-visit. 🤞🩷
Too hot of an iron and you have to use a pressing cloth on it. The hair may be melted. I did that once with a narrow flat iron and …melted it so she is in the reroot pile now. I’ve used a clothes iron once. Use warm barely to the 1 setting. My 1/2” flat iron lowest setting is 250 but I pull it through wet hair and quickly it drys and smooths in one stroke. I wish I could set it lower like 185. I’ve not found one that goes that low. Maybe a doll place might have one. Twin Peaks has lots of safe cleaners for dolls.
Love to see her looking so good after you've cleaned her up!
Thank you!
I love restoring dolls and always have patients waiting in my craft room. Pun'kin looks adorable all clean and pretty with her hat and red shoes.
Thank you!! 💕

Can you restore Jem and Lady Lovelilocks dolls?
Hi! I don't have any to restore at the moment, but I will definitely be on the lookout! 💕 Great suggestion!
