We are getting 3 patches in a row with a single "paid" 5*, with the second character being either free or a 4*. (Who is apparently getting paired with the new character, so there is no need to summon for reruns.)
Unless there is a massive decrease in th eamount of free currency we will obtain on 1.3 and 1.4... F2p players are eating good.
And for low spenders, it's even better. (With just the 5USD Lunite subscription, you should be able to get, on average, 1 new limited 5* per patch. And if you get the BP as well, you have a bit of leeway. So... Assuming they keep the current pace, you get average luck, and you don't spend asterite on weapon banners, it's entirely feasible to obtain all new characters in the game as a low spender.)
Just plan your pulls as _needed_ , and F2P players will be fine
problem is if you are f2p and started late, lets say in 1.2. then you got new characters AND reruns in your face, but yeah we have to choose i guess.

I must be to old to understand this logic. I am f2p (in other words, I don't pay a dime to the developers). Its not an mmo, so I don't really bring much value to the developers even as a player. As a f2p player one gets at least 2 non-limited 5-stars and some pulling power to get an occasional limited 5 star (I mean, from the beginning of the game I was pretty unlucky, but I got 2 of them). I would not call it being "screwed".
look at HSR and this 4 banners stuff, i dont think this is bad what WuWa is doing (plus a lot of ppl skipped chars at 1.2)
No they didnt get screwed.. Its being f2p that is screwing them... as f2p you should expect this. If you dont, then you're on copium. They dont make a game to revolve around f2p people. You dont give kuro any money for their hard work on content.
If Shorekeeper is a must have ( shes not when you have Verina which you should should of picked from your free pick) Then you skip Camellya because your f2p.
Not to mention f2p just got 5star lighting DPS! how are they getting screwed ?
And Shorekeeper and Camellya aren't even on the same patch which makes everything even farther from being a case of screwing players over

NO. Kuro gives us:
1. free 30 pulls for standard for preregister
2. free limited 5-star character.
3. free 3mil in game money to upgrade character for their mistakes
And kuro refunds pulls or money for bad English translation of one weapon that people expected good buffs. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Combat is insane and characters also, better than other gatcha games so far
This whole thing sounds like brain damage. Camellya is as much a big deal as Changli imo so I believe she’ll have a similar power level to her. Being screwed over in terms of banner placement means two characters that basically need each other are placed back to back. Liking a character because of how they look and personality is a separate matter entirely. I mean at that point every banner someone out there has experienced they were screwed over if they wanted everyone.
