  • There was a time when manufacturers design a car
To last for years, because of today’s competition and consumer demand
Now a day’s manufacturer car design seems to evolve rapidly….
Not too long ago Toyota just revives 40 series Land cruiser into the FJ Cruiser
It’s kind of like the modern version of the 40 series Toyota Land cruiser,
Perhaps there are huge followers on this vehicle,
And the reason why it was brought up again...
Toyota just added modern day amenities for consumer pleasure,
Bigger engines with variable valve timing electronic injection
    Computer control 4wd,
    Electronic traction control,
    More roomy seating capacity
Modern day comforts and so on…….
I guess some designs are meant to keep
Some do not…but I like them both
Toyota did a pretty good job making the FJ cruiser
It just so happens that the original 40 series Land cruiser was in my era.
And I became a fan of it first and decided to have one restored.
Who knows? If chances are good to me...
Perhaps I could also have the modern day FJ Cruiser
Which I do not mind having side by side with
My first Bj 40 Land cruiser.
Like most of us, we have a 9 to 5 job in the City.
As for me driving in the city is a must, not for pleasure.
So the weekends are my leisure time drive.
To unwind with my BJ 40...driving at the mountain hillside just to enjoy nature and the terrain.
There’s been a time when car manufacturers make a product that supposes to last….
    I like simple things,
For me the concept of simple
Meant to last forever and Bj-40 is one of those simple
    Mechanical features in it...
Because of technological innovation and mass production.
Nowadays you can’t differentiate a car from an SUVs
Most of the vehicles now days has the same look and ride
The only difference is the badge and the size of the vehicles...
I like my Bj40 Land cruiser, it may be slow but the way it was design
It meant it can go places where a normal vehicle cannot go...
That’s the reason why we call them all terrain vehicles or 4x4,
It’s kinda like a surfer feeling the sea by riding the waves and waves can be
Rough sometimes...and so does the land terrain it can be rough also.
For me, it’s the feeling of the off-road Driving with my BJ 40 Land Cruiser,
Is how I have great pleasure being close to nature…..
