  • ALASKA CRUISE TRIP
Majestic Princess cruise from Seattle to Juneau, Alaska, and back
Glaciers, mountains, and wildlife seen in Alaska
Visits to Ketchikan, Endicott Arm (glacier), Juneau, and Skagway
Traveling to Alaska is on many people’s “bucket list”. I too was wanting to see some of Alaska, but not from my Camper Van because of the driving trip it takes to get to large areas of Alaska. So, a visit to Alaska via a cruise ship met my needs. Learn from my trip to Alaska to see if this travel style might meet your goal of experiencing Alaska.
Thanks for watching our WHAT’S UP WEDNESDAY!? RV SHOW, episode 175, broadcast live from Southern Florida on UA-cam Live Stream on July 03, 2024. Journey on :)

    ABOUT
Howdy! My name is Scott. In 2017, I was unhappy with a traditional house (aka, storage unit) and a long Chicago commute. In 2018, I reinvented my life which included buying a Winnebago Travato GL Camper Van. In February 2019, I chose full-time travel in my Class B RV for five years. Now, I take trips of days, weeks, or months and share those experiences to help others achieve their travel dreams more quickly and more fully. Thanks for watching and being part of our Go Small. Your comments about visiting Alaska make sense given where you’re from. We did a land/sea with Princess in early June, our first. We’re from the L.A. area and loved being in the cool wilderness of Denali. Our ship was smaller and we were able to get closer to the glaciers in Glacier Bay. We loved the views from our balcony suite. That said, given the crowded public spaces on the ship (where else can those in internal cabins go?), we wouldn’t likely do an Alaska cruise twice. Thanks for the video!

Missed you AGAIN!!! Well, at least I saw the replay. Hope you and Kyle are having a good break. We just got back from the Embassy meetup and from our daughter's graduation from SCAD. She's now interning at Disneyworld! This of course means we're going to DISNEY! Be seeing you!

Thank you for sharing your experience going to Alaska. Great to see you back on a Wednesday! Leaving to go to Alaska on a cruise on July 18. Agree that most excursions are high priced and touristy. I usually do my research thanks to UA-cam and if it is close and walkable have done most exploring on my own. At least I did when I went to Greenland and Iceland. Same again except for 2 whale watching tours in Juneau. Going to spend time with my daughter, hike and hoping to see the humpbacks bubble net feeding. Glad you are enjoying your time off!

I’m a bear Scott 😂. I got a hat from the Red Dog saloon. Definitely something you want to visit in the off season. THOSE CHIPS ♠️♥️♣️♦️😮 It looks like a nice cruise. We’re definitely driving up to Alaska. I plan to spend a few months up there and all the way to Prudhoe Bay ✌🏼
