Aspiring model Resham Khan was sitting in a car when she became the victim of an unprovoked acid attack in June 2017. A corrosive liquid was thrown through the window at her and her cousin, but it was Resham who was left with ‘life-changing’ burns and in ‘unbearable pain’. Just three months after the attack, Resham has shared a selfie of her recovery on social media, and was praised for being ‘courageous, strong and confident’. Her assailant, John Tomlin, has pleaded guilty to two counts of causing GBH with intent and will be sentenced in January. Resham says that her face will never look the same again, but it was time to ‘stop hiding’. She joins This Morning in her first TV interview to share her story.

So sad and laws have to change in UK when there is an acid attack . It can destroy someone’s life . Anyone to do this horrible act , should get life in prison .

This is such a strong custom in India & middle east, its followed the immigration west...
Except the man who attacked her and plead guilty and now is serving time in Jail was called John Tomlin. an Enlgishman who wasn't an immigrant...nothing to do with immigrants scum exist in all sectors of society .
Acid attacks happen a lot in Britain as well. Look up Arthur Collins
There is nearly not even a single case in Europe where a Indian is held for acid attack.
