- Yet another boss track from this awesome game! Y'all don't even want to know how many times it took me to get the crazy breakdown part right... I still don't have any idea the exact time signature HAHA. Also, I really recommend giving this game a try if you haven't. It is so much fun!

@@SeriouslySamuelyearsago I entered the Stapeler fight with 200 hp and a 1-up mushroom. I don't think you can stack two.
Henrique Ourives No, I’m not saying, “You can Stack 1-ups, I’m saying if you accidentally use a 1-up in the scissors fight, then you can head back to Toad Town, pick up another 1-up, and THEN fight Stapler.

I accidentally broke the cover on the I think third turn, and I never got the opportunity to use any of the Vellementals. When I screwed up a jump and got hit by Final Cut, I had a small moment of panic when I found out it was insta-kill before remembering my 1up. Basically, this fight was difficult and slightly stressful...
AND I LOVE IT TO DEATH.
wait, what? when Final Cut hit me, it completely ignored my 1-up.
I hate the fakeout where Scissors attacks early instead of delaying the attack.
yeah, now imagine getting the man to low health and as a desperation attack he falls onto the ground and dashes at you catching you by surprise. that happened to me casually refighting them
I never saw this, I'd just set him up for a 1000 fold arms finish and kept resetting whenever he survived.
@@phillippeandpheather5379 the thing is I did beat him first try without breaking the cover, and just casually refought him because I enjoyed the music and didn't pay attention to where his cover was which ended up with me breaking it and getting no ice vellumental spots to use against him

Real men dont use Vellumentals on this fight. Dodge like a true gamer

It took me two tries to beat him and, of course, I broke his sheath on the first try, kissed my 1-up goodbye and got a game over because of his fakeout

Nope, once half his health is down he automatically unsheaths. Unless you could kill him with just over gslf his health which it probably caps you anyway

I'm going to say it this theme is truly one of the best in the game. Btw I honestly don't get why people say this is one of the hardest bosses I've never been hit by the Final Cut.
Probably because of the fear factor of the “what if I get hit scenario” and that some people just aren’t so good with reaction based dodging.

I has to try this fight multiple times because I wanted to get the finisher on him and he kept surviving, never got the fake-out attack, never died to his instant kill either.

Looking at these comments I now realize that it's possible to fight scissors with the sheath on??? I thought it was required to break to do damage, but I guess I was just doing that fight extra hard for no reason lol
Sad that the series has been lacking much quality in the last few installments, but at leas the soundtrack is still going strong
@@colm1983 Dude, you can't compare the character variety of this game to something like TTYD. There's no characterization or distinction between Toads, there's really no original characters (because of that stupid policy or whatever they made). There's a clear drop in quality, and you can't deny it

I personally wouldn't say it was lacking quality, but more of it was lacking memorability. The game was good, but it's lack of uniqueness in characters is sad. I thought the game was going to have unique characters after the shogun studio, but was slightly disappointed. Everything else was great

This dude screwed me over I got a bonus turn and used iron boots thinking “it beats spikes!” not only did I die but I wasted a 1-up then died again. I wish we could choose whether to use the 1-up or not
