Thanks for posting. In the early 1980's I wanted one of these so bad. I ended up making my own inspired by this Palomar meter. I did not make the SWR scale but it turned out really good and I built it into an old Drake watt meter case. I still use it today. It actually is a voltmeter calibrated in watts across a 50 ohm load. After building mine, I sent an article on mine to CQ Magazine and they published it in August 1983. I still want one of these meters so if you know where one is for sale, I would love to buy one. 73 WA4QGA
So for example if your rig puts out 90 watts, is it correct that you would only see the 70w Led light up? it appears that the '70' LED will light up for anything between 70-95w or so? Maybe I can't tell from the video whether there are varying levels of illumination of the LED's, so basically my question is referencing the meter's accuracy. Thank you.
