A friend and co-worker sent me the link for this video...I am the one performing the safety demonstration! What an unexpected pleasure to be able to see a glimpse of myself on the job thirty years ago. Thank you!
Wow, thanks for letting me know! I am in the process of transferring my dad's old tapes to digital. It is a daunting task. You just made it all worth the effort!
Extinguish all smoking items at this time. Wow the good old days of flying. How oh how I remember those words as a kid and you teen during the 80s. My older brother who raised me used to smoke on flights out to Grandma in San Diego, ahh the good ole days.
That flight attendant's thick wavy early 80s hairstyle, I remember when many guys had that. And hearing her say "smoking is allowed in the smoking section only". The what section? Smoking section? On a plane? And they served dinner on flights back then too. Yeah, it was another world of a long time ago.

Brent Skuba Wow, that's awesome how you found this video of yourself from over 30 years ago. Did you wind up staying in the airline industry?
Are you still flying? Maybe for Alaska?
@@assaultislove smoking on planes...Sweet Jesus
Jet America was the best! I flew them a few times when I was a kid, and they always took amazing care of me.
