- Опубліковано 18 жов 2024
- These aired May 12, 1995 during an episode of "Late Night with Conan O' Brien.
The ads come from...
Duracell
Coldwell Banker
Rust-Oleum
Wheat Thins
Paul Joseph and the TMJ 4 Weather Team
TMJ 4 News playing off of Eddie Lawrence's "Old Philosopher" character
"Braveheart" (a Wednesday release...must be expecting big things)
Sealy mattresses
Pontiac Sunfire
Bradley's Bug Stop (BOY, do I remember those ads from the early Conan days)
Concrete Masonry Industries
Nabisco Shredded Wheat
Excedrin (Hey, it's TV's Bryan Cranston!)
DuPont Stainmaster carpets (Hey, it's TV's Ryan Stiles!)
SNL ad, David Duchovny and Rod Stewart
NBA on NBC (that ad waxes nostalgic for me, and I've never even been a huge NBA fan)
Northpoint Ford
the Bug Stop again (probably why I remember them so well, multiple ads)
W B Place Leather Shop and Woodland Gifts
quick local ad for Martha Stewart's old show
Subway
Jergen's body shampoo
Ponds skin smoothing capsules
Heiser dealerships
Valvoline Indy 500 Race to Riches game
Mountain Dew
the Bug guy again (same ad...probably shouldn't tell you, but...they closed up a while ago...yeah, sad I know)
Extra gum
paint from Sears
Hyundai Accent (that is SO Sally Kellerman's voice)
Mastercard
Wheat Thins again
McDonalds Monopoly game (man, that was big back in the day...total hosejob too)
Ad Council encouraging you to recycle
a classic drug PSA
Jesus I forgot about those Duracell commercials and I still have no idea how they created them. Are those weird masks and body suits? Pretty sure it's not stopmotion. It's just so damn creepy!
Reminds me of this music video from 1995, probably just some new rubber mask/molding thing that was popular at the time. Came out the same year I wouldn't be surprised some of the same people worked on it. ua-cam.com/video/aYDfwUJzYQg/v-deo.html
They’re actors.
I'm a little afraid to do research on it. Like I'll learn some terrifying truths about an actor getting stuck in a costume or someone going bonkers after seeing the ad and attacking people with socks full of batteries.
8:48 that is a weird commercial haha
