I just finished the complete harness for my w202 C180. After 1 year the car start again!! In my case the harness short circuit fry the engine ECU and i buy a used one, luckily there is no need to program it. Pay attention that the harness inside the throttle body si also damaged! For the harness I did my own thing, for example i replace the connector for the throttle body and for the injector i use only 3 wire so the total harness is much much lighter.
Hi i have same issue here 96 c200, i was trying to remove the harness but when it goes under the manifold i cant see where it goes or connect ?.. i coudnt see that part in your video , would it be possible to video call sometime please cheers

I'm lucky, I buyed a 98 W202 C200 with new generation of harness and knowing that problem, when my friend was looking for a C280 with inline 6, we checked that first. The first C280 we saw was a 95' C280 Sport, but the harness was already dead and the seconde one was 94' C280 Elegance and the harness was replaced.
I bought this one for cheap around 1200 euro it was badly idling I thought a bargain easy fix little did I know the wire was in bits ,another reason I got it cuz it’s 94 and in Ireland cars 30 years older have classic insurance and road tax so I thought it will resale at a very high price in 2023
