There are some videos on how to whip your disc out of the inner sleeve without getting finger oils on the vinyl, even if you’re just pinching the lead-in grooves. Great video, thanks.
Been slightly curious about the reissue, but I haven't grabbed one simply due to the fact that it typically runs more than I paid for my original pressing about 10 years ago (snagged a cool purple vinyl copy for just $40, which I've shown on my channel). Totally agree; this definitely has a shoegaze element to it. I credit Siamese Dream with really expanding my mind when it came to music, and it's what really get me hooked on exploring newer music when a friend introduced me to it in 1993/1994. Good stuff as always!
i got gish a few years back brand new for a great price on vinyl but siamese dream is a different beast altogether lol the cheapest i can find it brand new online is £57.00 which is about $70
Loved your video! I subscribed. In his Confessions Billy explains Soma and Mayonaise "are true musical collaborations," cowritten by him and James. He wrote "as I sort thru the issues, making sure the other writer (in this case James) is in full agreement on all aspects of the song, and it’s execution…" Edit: I repeated a quote.
Thank you for subscribing and watching my video :D. Yes! James is such a great guitar player and songwriter. I'm glad that he's back in the band again.
Ha I came here to to say this...soma and mayonaise were co-written with James. According to Billy, he wrote most of the two songs with help from james.
Yes, but when you were a kid in the 90s/00s you called those shiny Pokémon cards “holographic/hologram”, even though it wasn’t necessarily accurate.” I think they’re called “foils”.

@@TakeBreakKazu yeah I love him!!!! He is so iconic, and has such a soft nature which can be appreciated in his music.
