This is what the E36 M3 should of looked like from the factory 👌
Those 90’s flares vs the curved flares of the E46 M3, so much more “machine” vs “design”.
I own a E36 M3 Evolution, Currently recommissioning it love them people are only starting to realise how good they are now!
Best looking m3s I think mate along with the e30
I love them and I’m not even a bmw guy ( vw / Audi guy )
CLS stands for : Coupé Lightweight Silhouette. The exhaust is original. The seats are not. ACS has built several types, mostly distinguished by type I and II. I personally have never seen such an underbody panel on a E36.
there was two options on seats to be honest
The exhaust isn’t original, I was there when it was fitted 😊
Rarer than the Alpinas! Beautiful and more deeply modified by a competitive Motorsport Team!
I love the DTM style exhaust. Reminds me of simpler times.
Same here! The original Schnitzer back box had DTM style upswept tailpipes but it rusted out. I wanted to replace it like for like but it was no longer available so I had this custom made. It's pretty close to the original shape but it has rolled tips (the original Schnitzer one had slash cut tips)
This car was just shy of £70k when new. That's double what a standard M3 evo cost at the time so it's no surprise not many were made. The conversion was completed by Rossiters BMW in the UK when new.
My daughter has red E30 318is , I love it its good on fuel and quick as well .Your new shop is very nice very bright and space .
Now that’s a rare car. A proper Schnitzer. I think I have a sales brochure for it.
I think the wide arches are all aluminium
The wide arches are actually all carbon Kevlar
Would be great to have the sales brochure as part of the car’s paperwork if you have it and are willing to part with it 👍🏽
@@nadeemahmed6286 I have an Ac Schnitzer catalog with all of the options, part numbers and pictures. I owned the car before Graham. I can take some pictures of the e36 cls pages and email them to you if you'd like?
this is the better brand for bmw in the 90s the sedan was awesome the 325 siluette
Proper name is ACS3 Sport CLS
there is only 3 left in uk .

@@farturinn ye your right I make mistake
@@M44TFB no problem mate :)
You can give me that colour name? please
Great to have you back, awesome post, thank you sir 👍
I am currently restoring a S3 Sport CLS, but it is much more complete than the car you showed.
What a find!
Saw a darker blue (Avus?) at Bicester Scramble earlier this year. It was stunning
Think they have aluminium light weight doors aswell try putting a magnetic on them to see if it sticks then you will know..
That steering wheel is factory facelift m3 one,the other one is nice but is non airbag version more like for e30.overall that car is amazing.
They are Schnitzer Cup mirrors. Last set I had for an E36 went to Florida!
Given the rarity of this car and the amount of underside work it needs, I would have sent it to Redish Motorsport to restore that first then given it to you for all the mechanicals. Regardless, very cool bit of history.
@J B the underpanel was standard for evos (i.e., S50B32 models).
tnx for the video
I know there's two in the USA there's one dakar yellow cls and one apline white both US spec M3s
amazing!
This car is beyond rare.... its too bad someone decided to ditch the ac bitts and put the hodge podge under the car.
The plastic under tray looks similar to something fitted to the very first few e36 m3 light weights sold in the US. The first couple cars that came over were displayed with similar. Most of the North American lightweights were sold with parts in the trunk, sub frame brace an oil pan etc. Claimed they were nit street legal? BMW motorsport had sent a couple cars to Millner Motorsport? they were prepped by BMW NA put on display , pretty sure that was a oem motorsport rarity ............ anyway super car thanks for sharing I had forgotten about this car glad to see one is still alive!
Very nice motor,
Would look great if underside was dry ice cleaned.
When i bought my E36 325i it was a replica of this on this outside, minus the boxy rear fenders. It had fiberglass front fenders. Lots of shortcuts taken, kind of a hackjob. I took it back to regular mtech stuff. I wasn't into the ACS look, it was dated and cheesy at the time and not appreciated in the same way it is today.
14 ACS E36 M3 CLS`s were produced.
11LHD & 3RHD (UK spec) cars.
Not 7 or 8.
Were double the price of a regular E36 M3 at the time.
This one was stripped of all the goodies if its an original car to start with (1 of those 3 RHD cars), which i doubt.
Missing front bumper with spoiler and splitter, dash, seats, carbon intake, just to name a few, off the bat like this...
So, it's either a fake, or a butchered original car...
The price for a Sport CLS was US$170k from the factory in 1994. A lot of money! Mine has all the goods including door cards in carbon fiber.
I’d give my first born for this kit on my Estoril coupe. Echoing others, the car should’ve came that way from the factory.
👌😎👍
Bummer that it’s not a slicktop! This would have been great specially on a CLS M3… Neither less very rare model
@11:17 what you get with straight and what with excentric rubber ? I mean whats the diference when you install it on the car ?
Changes caster
How much they made from this ?

Thats same car..side badges removed
@@The777Garage seats and steering wheel also the same. Yesterday i read a Artikel. They say Just 14 worldwide would exist. But i don't know If they count cls and cls2 together.
My old car!! Sent you a pm on instagram Ed.
And my old car too lol. I sold it to dubsterACS. I added the Schnitzer mirrors (have you noticed how the passenger mirror is a different shape/size to the drivers side?) and the custom back box due to rot from Infinity exhausts. When I bought the car the previous owner had added the M3 GT rear spoiler and removed the schnitzer one. It's had a few sets of wheels over the years. It had e46 19" M3 wheels on it when i bought it, not sure why the original schnitzer wheels were removed. It had a Leather and Carbon steering wheel too, so not sure where that's gone.
The front bumper was replaced in my ownership when my friend reversed (slowly) into it. Ac Schnitzer made one up specially as they still had the mold. Cost a fortune!
Haha..great!! Maybe we can track the first owner 😃
