que banda del carajo¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ hice 1200 km de moto para verlos en floripa br hace unos meses¡¡¡¡¡ fue la primera vez que los vi en vivo,,,llore un poco nomas...jejjejejejeejej na bastante¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ tengo 42 ,los los sigo hace años¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ steel pulse carajo¡¡¡¡¡¡
SP were one of the first wave of `indigenous` British reggae bands along with Matumbi, Misty in Roots, ASWAD etc that got labelled as `conscious reggae` because of the content of their songs.
They actually had something to say about the World around them, instead of having to listen to endless tedious repetitive Rasta`isms that had come to dominate the genre and are still very prevalent today, suddenly great rhythms were boosted by intelligent lyrics instead of being wrecked by people who could not write a song if their life depended on it. They gave reggae a big shot in the arm, still do.
Live music is the real music,perfect music band🙏🏿🙏🏿🇨🇩
It was privilege to host most of the original members at my apartment in Sweden during the end of the seventies.

Steel Pulse are extremely important to us all.Ive had the joy of seeing David Hinds leading his band here in New Zealand a couple of times.Great stage professionals of the greatest music in jah world.they lead the way being the best band not from 🇯🇲. The message in the music is at the highest level.Roots all day.i will watch this powerful message in jah music again.

Die Band ist eine der besten Roots Bands aus UK aber der Zahn der Zeit nagt an jedem und so gut wie vor 20 -30 Jahren sind die Meisten leider nicht mehr ( Gesang z.B.) so auch SP. Dennoch bin selbst Musiker und daher mein vollster Respekt! Einer der Besten Konzerte live war Burning Spear Live 86 heute ist Winston Rodney um die 80 und dafür noch verdammt präsent aber halt nicht wie damals! Logisch bin froh die meisten Actsbnoch zu hoch Zeiten gesehen zu haben,!🎸🎶🌍🎤🪗🎷🎹

Blues dance raid used to be played with a- in musical terms "ritardando" or ritard style of play. Research it.. these types of fun styles n musical technics should be on emphasis in these reggae concerts. Steel pulse should run these back... like old-school days of 70s n 80s. Even stepping out had that style of play attributed...

Don't know who the audio engineers are for rototom this year but the playback on this channel has been horrible for just about every event I tried watching. Extremely disappointed especially for this act.

Yes "engineers" are most of time bad with live mixing AND even recording but this rototom is really badly recorded and this concert not the worst
Well I don't know what to say something has happened because it was like Mr hines could be bit louder. The horns section was louder than he was singing what up with the engineers up and down with the mic 🎤 😮😢
Vocals shouldn't overpower, imho.❤
