I was going to watch a movie and somehow came across this amazing journey!! It blew away most movies and put me in a good space that I needed. It amazes me bud how your animals have complete faith in you!!! They know dad has their back and I just gotta say you seem like a very amazing person. God bless you for taking me along with you!!
I watch through the whole thing. I was with you all the way and feeling hard breathing, the careful placement of steps, picking up the pot and pans. Love the four legged animals, they looked to you as leader and you treat them as what they are. Love your sharing.
Steve, have to say, you have the coolest pack. I lost my hiking companion, she used to pack her supplies just like your dogs. Did my share of hiking adventures and camping. But you are at a whole different level. Those animals adore you!
Thanks "R" I'm so glad you enjoyed the show. It sure is fun hanging out with my crew in the high country. My ash is 10 years old now. She is still doing great but I am already morning her loss. I wish dogs didn't have such short lives. I've had so many special dogs at different times of my life. It's always so hard when you lose them but I couldn't imagine my life without them.
Steve, it's so true what you say about the loss of a dog, but not being able to live without them. I so feel your heartache. Ash's personality reminds me so much of my much missed Scungilli, and June is such a cute and goofy girl. I quite enjoy Bill's fresh moments and feigned aloofness. Your adventure escapes and photography are wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
This long long video format is really great. I haven't seen many other outdoor rec UA-camrs have the nerve to show an entire trip with the good and the tired, but this was really fun to just sit back and enjoy a long video and vibe with you and the animals. Your channel is amazing!! Really really enjoyed this
I have to agree. I just got home from a medical test for my heart. Tomorrow I have a 4 to 5 hr test at the hospital. My anxiety was high!! My heart was palpitating so I started watching this and I it was just relaxing. My mind is good now. I really enjoyed this also. I’m subscribing.
Thats because most you tubers are driven to do this with there first 3 to 5 goals in there chanel is $ not reality. I have to say Hollywood has taught us one thing reality is what you want it to be .
Yeah its a good video. But idk what other youtubers your wicking cause the many I watch that do this type of stuff have wayyyyy longer videos than this. You must be watching the shorts I got it.
Really enjoyable watch. 'ASMR' is about right. Lovely to see Bill fitting like it was the most natural thing in the world. The 4 of you seemed to have a great time. Thank you for all effort which went into allowing us join you on this adventure.
Your animals love you. So cool to see them interact with you. You know it's been a killer hike when the dogs go down for a nap. I dread deadfall sections, so precarious. Love the simplicity and versatility of the #firebox! Epic adventure Steve.
Hi Steve. My first video of yours that I’ve seen. I enjoyed watching it all. Bill, Ash, Juni are such great hiking partners. Look forward to seeing Levi too. Glad he’s OK after his surgery you mentioned. Very unusual to see goats though. That’s why I decided to watch. What an amazing trip. Scenery was very beautiful. Thankfully no one got injured with the falling tree. Got worried when Bill was far away from you. They are so happy to be with you and lucky they get to go with you on these trips. Thanks for the video. See you soon. All of you be well and stay safe.
Man, this is fantastic, I didn't know I needed this until I saw it. i love that Bill is obviously just another of the family, I've never seen a goat follow a person like that before unless they had a food bucket. Now I need a caprine companion like Bill!
Thank you to much for a great adventure watching your vid.. I am an old disabled vet and can only dream of doing an adventure like that. Hiked the beautiful mountains in S.E. Asia for a year and some months in some not so pleasant times many years ago. Now I get to do it watching your videos. Great little stove very innovative. We used small chunks of C-4 and put our C rat cans on that to heat up. To bad your stove was not around I like that quite a bit better. LOL>
Films like this remind me that youtube is still a beautiful thing where you can find the most unexpected gems. This is simply gold. The relationship you have with your animals is next level. I have one dog who is my best friend. I feel like we are able to bring out the intelligence in animals simply by crediting them with it. I now want a goat just like Bill. What a dude. Legend. Goat = Greatest Of All Time. Thanks for this film my friend.
This video is epic in every way! Thoroughly enjoyed your adventure with Ash, June and Bill. Remarkably challenging terrain that my younger fittest self would have strained to get through even without a backpack. Though I'm unlikely to ever backpack camp, you are inspiring me to consider fishing. Have to figure out a system that works with my canoe. Going to mull that over with the aid of some hash browns and coffee!
I was amazed to see that you not only trained your dogs but also a goat! Very picturesque areas and very pleasant way of presenting life in nature. Congratulations!
Steve, this trip with you was an amazing experience for me, silence, peace of mind, beautiful nature and your friends all made a great impression on me. Thank you for this trip, thank you for the moments of happiness. Bill is an amazing animal ... and so are your dogs. I love them too, I have 4, and I envy you this freedom.
I just love watching your trips into nature with your trusted animals.❣️It is also very rewarding watching you cook using your own products setting a good example and hands on demonstrating how to use your equipment👏🏼🔥
This was the most enjoyable video, outside of your other videos, I have seen on youTube to date, with absolutely no exaggeration. So serene and calming and at the same time EPIC, is amazing to experience. Thank you for all the effort I know it took to film all that, and selfishly I vote for more episodes of this size and content! Thank you again!
Those views are absolutely insane!! You've got such a good thing going on there with your sweet goat and dogs. I just love your videos. So relaxing and calming. Thank you for sharing your travels with us couch potatoes.

I had goats years ago and been watching these videos dealing with healing and they helped me so much! Last week I received two goats I will pack with as a gift named Coco and Carmel can't wait to train them up!
my old man bought him a fire box a few years ago, still use it to cook and have personal fires with my son almost every time he hits the woods and never leaves it behind. keep up the good work guys.
This was a lovely find. Your animals love you so much and support you well. Where would be without them. Thank you for this gift I am thoroughly enjoying.
If I only watched 1 video ever again on the internet, this would be it. Epic for sure. It’s cinematography at its finest. Camera work is spot on and now the soundtrack matches. Perfect pans and zoom. Love the interaction you have with the animals Steve. I take it you brought the drone for some of these aerial shots? That’s content dedication bringing extra gear in the backpack. Well done sir 👍🏼
Thank you Dan! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I sure appreciate the feedback that comes from folks like you who have been watching for a long time and can see the differences as I work to improve my game 🙏
Wow! I needed the calming presence of you and the animals this morning. I believe that only a person with a kind and loving heart makes certain that the animals are comfortable before making themselves comfortable. God bless you.
Awesome coming along with you sir and the goat 🐐 and your dogs🐕🐕 where senior citizens wouldn't be able to go and especially disabled people with electric wheelchair wouldn't be able to go awesome adventure great show Beautiful 😍❤️💪🏻👍🏻 scenery
Man the Freestyle looks awesome I can’t wait for it to be available, the video was awesome too, the camaraderie of the group and the scenery was great as usual, I hope Roshelle beats the Rona and is healthy as ever she is a great asset to your company and the interactions that we have had she has been friendly and has gone out of her way to help me
Nature is beautiful in all forms. Thank you for bringing us such a beautiful video of it. But wow, this really tested the team's stamina, didn't it? This was, although very beautiful, extremely treacherous in places. Looks at times that Bill had had enough but he tarried on.
This is an amazing video. The country is so rugged and beautiful. Sorry to hear Rochelle is not doing so well . She is an amazing person. Keep up the good work. Good to hear Levi is doing well.
Thanks for your fantastic videos. At 71, I backpack solo into the Uintas and go where no one else goes. Love deadfall and ungroomed trails because I know I won't see anybody, although a couple of goats we would be nice to lessen my load. Even have had a couple of encounters with bigfoot. That might be the strange noises you heard
Well, I thought to myself I’ll give this video a try for a few minutes before I go to sleep, but I was hooked just like that big trout and watched till the end (well past my usual bedtime). Your video skills, your wit and sense of humor caught a new subscriber too. Watching your meal preparation had my mouth watering. Thanks and please continue.
Steve, I just watched this end to end. WOW!!!! Gods Country!!! New stove loox interesting - I have the original Firebox and 3 original nanos for my various kits (so I dont forget it). I always thot a mid sized one would be nice, but both sizes that I have have fed me well. Wishing Levi a full recovery! God Bless, Jerry
A really enjoyable film. I love the fact that you take your animals with you, Bill the goat is wonderful. The animals even carry some of the equipment. The Firebox looks like a very clever invention.
Not really much to say, the dogs are naturals and really like pulling their own weight. The goats were bottled babies so I put packs on them when they were just tiny things and then I would give them a bottle so they learned to like having a pack on. That's also why the goats follow me because I am their mama 😂😆👍😎🙏
Wow.. it’s amazing... what a cute goat.. first time I saw a goat behaves such obedient and loyal manner.. and adorable two dog..an adventure with stunning sceneries and loyal 3 friends... what an experience!!! Greetings from Sri Lanka...
Another amazing video Steve!! Can’t wait. To give the freestyle a try. Great job your wife and you did on the editing. I really enjoyed seeing all the different views
Love the long format, and the pet goat on trail, that’s a first for me. Great companions you have to accompany you on your travels. You get a lot out of that lil stove. That’s really some rugged terrain.
Cudos Sir, for creating some of the best videos that I have watched. Only creators will know how much time, labor & imagination it takes to; not only make such high quality videos, but to pick such interesting terrain to do it in. You are quite the gambler, traversing terrain like that in sandals. Your feet & ankles must have been lame after working them so hard in that challenging & dangerous environment. I've been an avid fan of you & your products since I discovered you years ago. Your real-time testing & usage is the best sales tool & what sold me. Wishing you & family health, safety & success. I don't have to wish you skill, as it's obvious that you have plenty of that. It looks like Bill is suffering some fatigue at 1:30, as his patience & tolerance is nearing the end.
Thanks for the kind words Barry my feet and ankles were just fine after all that. I try not to get into too much of a hurry and choose my steps carefully 👍😎
Thanks Jeffrey I'm so glad you enjoyed the show 👍 Bill the goat is a lot of fun and I appreciate that he can carry quite a bit of gear but my dogs are much closer to me on an emotional level 👍
All I can say is wow, what an awesome video and an awesome trip! The new stove is awesome too, got so many questions to ask you...pack weight, gear used, elevation gain, just wish I could sit down and have a conversation about it all with you. Very impressed! Keep them coming, really enjoy what you do! Love the stoves too!
Lol! I don't keep track of all that stuff. Well, other than my pack weight of course. I try to keep it at a maximum of 45 lb my camping style is to make it enjoyable and if I don't need to set up a full-blown camp, all the better, I just sleep out on a tarp with another tarp by my side so I can scramble if needs be. My biggest concern as a scout was how much of our time was used up in the making and breaking of camp so now I keep it as simple as possible so I can enjoy more of my time that I worked so hard for. 👍😎🙏
Tudo de bom natureza ,acampamento e ainda os animais, parabéns adoro esses vídeos e uma terapia pra mim, sem falar que sou apaixonada por cães e acho lindo o jeito que trata eles
Looks like a blast! I'll set my reminder. Plan on doing some ventures like this myself this yr. Just gotta get my wethers used to hiking with a dog. We all try to time it with good weather, but have you tried to bring your goats in bad weather? How do they handle it?
I love watching your camping with your packs. It must have been tiring for the animals but I’m sure they enjoy the outdoors too. Keep safe with your packs and I will watch for the new adventure.
Yesterday, after attending a funeral in Elsa, Texas, my girlfriend and I stopped in to a Mexican seafood restaurant where very little English is spoken in Edinburg, Texas for lunch. Of the 2 televisions they had going, one was playing Spanish music videos, and on the other was this awesome video of yours. We couldn't hear yours over the music, but from the get-go we were hooked, as both of us are animal lovers, and we enjoy exploring the outdoors. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and for taking such good care of your traveling companions! 🙏 We look forward to seeing more! Safe travels!
this vibe ur animals got bags packed is so post apocalyptic coozy adventure mode freedomlike. i remember as a kid always imagining packing all kinds of stuff together and being adventuring some day. this is just like it
It's a Nice Video 😊 I love it and the most exciting thing is the 🐐 she's so cool 😎 the 🐕🐕 also. Thank you so much and wish you all a great and safe time 🙏🤙✌️🐕🐐💪👍
As so many others have said this is an amazing video of four great friends travelling and camping together. I noted your kindness in taking off their burdens before you had even removed your own. May God bless you all every day.
I was not feeling very happy today due to losing my younger brother afew months ago,, came across your video and it really relaxed me, thank you for sharing this wonderful video
Than you for making it possible for us to participate for we know it is a lot of work and some of the shots were not easy. Bil the goat is a wonderful addition and he is really amazing 👏 ❤
I got me a wood stove to use outback, getting warmer here in Ohio now. I still get a kick out of one's hike and like the goats and the packed up dogs. I had packs for my dogs too. The fish always looks good cooked outside. Have fun and enjoy the hike. Paul in NorthEast Ohio.
I love how animals are happiest when they're all together with their family.

My uncle had a white Billy goat. Named Billy we would go Trail riding he would just fallow along behind the horses just Happy to go.
I've never seen a billy goat that wasn't trying to piss on everyone. Is he neutered or something?

Thanks for taking the time to film this, I enjoyed watching..
My pleasure Eric I'm so glad you enjoyed the show 🙏
Your closeness to the critters is unparalleled in anything I've seen on UA-cam beautiful.
Thanks Jim!
A really enjoyable film. I love the fact that you take your animals with you, Bill the goat is wonderful. The animals even carry some of the equipment. The Firebox looks like a very clever invention.
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it!
Salut Stiven ,ne areți peisaje de vis mulțumesc,tu cu 2 cîini o caprà eşti interesant ,eşti un om de poveste ,succes.
Perfect to watch at the end of the day to unwind and inspire. Loved every minute of it. Thanks! 🙏
Thank you Reid! I'm so glad you liked it!
Steve, please share more about how you trained your pets to carry your supplies - the highs and lows etc. thank you making great videos!
Thank you so much. We sure have a great time out there.
Thank you so much for the video! Respect for the love of animals! Greetings from Russia....from Novosibirsk!!!
Thank you for watching from Russia 🙏👍😎
4:45 I love that little tail wag when Bill was complimented, like "Oh you!" *blush*
Lol, I know! Right! He seems to communicate with his ears and his tail the most. Very expressive!
I’m so happy someone else noticed that too!! It was so cute, like what my dogs would do when I talked to them. Adorable.
Another amazing video Steve!! Can’t wait. To give the freestyle a try. Great job your wife and you did on the editing. I really enjoyed seeing all the different views
Thank you Matt I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Love the long format, and the pet goat on trail, that’s a first for me. Great companions you have to accompany you on your travels. You get a lot out of that lil stove. That’s really some rugged terrain.
Yes, yes and yes 👍😎🙏 thanks for commenting, I appreciate it!
So beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching Glenda!
I'm a camping, hiking and Bushcraft enthusiast I love having my pup with me on my adventures. This was so enjoyable to watch.
So glad you enjoyed it Mike! thanks for coming along with us!
Can't wait for a new season of videos!
Thank you so much Daniel!
Amazing video, getting even better. Love the interaction with the animals. Looking forward to many more!
Thanks chase, I'll keep doing it as long as I can 👍🙏😎 thanks for coming along with us!
Mmmm perfect meal! I know your goat enjoys exploring and sampling the buffet.
Yes he does, they are funny to watch the way they smell every leaf before they choose 🤔👍😎
Those lakes are beautiful and all the landscape around . Looks like that you have 2 great buddies there .
I'm sorry I didn't mean to leave your goat out being your buddy, also .
Thanks Jeffrey I'm so glad you enjoyed the show 👍 Bill the goat is a lot of fun and I appreciate that he can carry quite a bit of gear but my dogs are much closer to me on an emotional level 👍
Steve, the scenery and having the pets along is great to watch. I don't care how long the videos are!
Thank you Jason! so glad you enjoyed it!
That’s great. Everyone is pulling their own weight. It’s so nice how the animals work with you and thank you for sharing the beautiful views.
My pleasure Jessie! I'm so glad you enjoy the show thank you for taking the time to let me know 🙏
Found this video today. Me and my family watched it and found it so peaceful. I feel this is a life I want to live. 💛
Thanks! I love hearing that you watched it with your family 👍👊😎
Looks like a blast! I'll set my reminder. Plan on doing some ventures like this myself this yr. Just gotta get my wethers used to hiking with a dog. We all try to time it with good weather, but have you tried to bring your goats in bad weather? How do they handle it?
I haven't had to deal with bad weather with the goats. I did bring an extra tarp so I could provide overhead shelter for them 👍😎
What a great trip! Really relaxing watch!
So glad you enjoyed it!
I love watching your camping with your packs. It must have been tiring for the animals but I’m sure they enjoy the outdoors too. Keep safe with your packs and I will watch for the new adventure.
They certainly don't like being left behind 👍🙏😊
Yesterday, after attending a funeral in Elsa, Texas, my girlfriend and I stopped in to a Mexican seafood restaurant where very little English is spoken in Edinburg, Texas for lunch. Of the 2 televisions they had going, one was playing Spanish music videos, and on the other was this awesome video of yours. We couldn't hear yours over the music, but from the get-go we were hooked, as both of us are animal lovers, and we enjoy exploring the outdoors. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and for taking such good care of your traveling companions! 🙏
We look forward to seeing more! Safe travels!
Sorry for your loss... It's awesome they were playing my video in a Mexican restaurant! Thanks for letting me know!
@@fireboxstove certainly! And thank YOU 🙏

That serenity is fully priceless. What magnanimous wilderness.
As so many others have said this is an amazing video of four great friends travelling and camping together. I noted your kindness in taking off their burdens before you had even removed your own. May God bless you all every day.
Thank you for your blessing Kassie🙏
Me and my 6 and 7 year old loved watching this, very motivational!
That's awesome! Knowing that kids can sit through one of my videos is a very good compliment for me 🤔👍😊
One word for this video...MAGNIFICENT.
Thank you so much! I think that's the first time that word's been used to describe one of my videos 👍😎🙏

This was really great to watch. Your animals are the sweetest team a person can have. Unconditionally. Thank you
Thank you Julie, we are so glad you enjoyed it. Our animals are such a great part of the family.
Good to watching you and your friends , love from Taiwan.
Thank you for watching from Taiwan!
Thank you Paul, it's nice to make your acquaintance 👍😎
The fact i watched the whole episode and it felt like 30minutes, loved it
Nice! I love it. So glad you enjoyed it!
