One has to wonder how Joker averages ten assists! I was disappointed when Dame became "available" and Nuggets didn't take him. If I understood him well, he would like to play with Jokic. Instead, Joker will have to move if he really wants another ring.
Joker needed to put up 40 points and 28 points to beat the Raptors twice, and both times by two points. The Raptors, who lost Scottie Barnes in the first game and didn't have him for the second and are second in the league for games lost to injuries, who had been at the bottom of the east all season long, required that amount of effort to bring down. Yeah, Joker needs help.
Yeah bro Idk what the hell are they thinking by giving Zeke Nnaji that contract. That man is useless lol He's making more money than Brandon Miller, Clint Capela, Keegan Murray, Amen Thompson & many more. Then almost same contract value as Chet Holmgren & Coby White.
I’m worried Joker is going to get injured this season given the wear and tear those extra minutes are going to cost. Poor guy needs a strong no 2 when he’s off the field and Murray it seems is not that guy.
Yeah. As godly this performance is, its not going to last. Obviously its not the same but this gives me some similar vibes as 2006 and 2013 Kobe and Lakers if that makes any sense.
Adam Mares just mentioned the possibility of getting Butler for MPJ. Yeah, who needs threes and spacing... Yikes On a completely unrelated note, Steph needs more firepower to get another ring or two before he retires, and Warriors probably aren't afraid of spending some extra money. Just throwing it out there LOL
I agree with this 6:55. I see some people say Jokic becoming more greedy inflating his points number, etc. Bro like he must have those kind of crazy points number because the team cant score a bucket at all. If jokic doesnt score those crazy number the team would lose 100℅
My nuggets just need to go into debt for like 5 years. We fucked up by resigning Murray too high so now it’s time to overspend on another key player. I can see us getting that chip again, we just need a solid shooter who makes buckets at a high level. Either that or Zack Levine!
Jokic needs to force his way out. Nuggets are cooked. Staying with JM is going to end his chances at winning. Dude is a BUM and shouldn't have gotten that contract. Maybe half.
I hope Jokic becomes more demanding of his team. He is playing so well while most of his team isn't, so he needs to pressure and demand more from them. Kind of like MJ did with the bulls. Obviously not as crazy as MJ was, but be more demanding and motivating to them. The obvious one is Jamal, Jokic should be harder on him because he is good enough when he is doing well, the problem is that many times he clearly isn't putting the effort or focus needed. Same with MPJ. Like right now I feel Watson and Braun try harder for the team than the other main guys and that is unacceptable.
I don’t know what they do to fix it. They have no draft assets to trade. Their biggest problem players have oversized contracts that other teams would have to be bribed to take on. How do you turn this into a star? Orrrrr they could trade Jokic to OKC for like ten first round picks. Honestly might be their best strategy. Better to sell high and rebuild than to be mediocre till Jok’s contract expires and then he walks like Paul George did.
I believe MJP also has a max contract. About Murray- Kroenke and Booth signed a rapidly aging bench warmer on the Canadian Olympic team to a Max contract. But the worst thing is they have zero dollars for any bench. Look at efficiency numbers for the starters and its not bad- particularly on offense. The bench has the worst efficiency numbers in the NBA particularly on offense. Jokic will want out and he will sit out until he gets a trade-it is coming.
We'll apologize come playoffs. Let's see how well this ages. PS did one of these for tre mann when he was still bench warming in okc, that one's starting to come together.
Great video as always. I am so sad how Denver treats Nikola... He made so much for the organisation and this team is their answer. They are all running him like a horse (which he loves so much)... It will end up with only one cup for him, which is criminal and will deeply affect his legacy at the end of the career...
Jammal was always hit streaker, and momentum player ectect .but since injury he isnt right in body and mind...jamal knows game but broken at this moment
The reason he was even putting up these eye-popping numbers in the first place is because Jokic is exerting extra effort for his team which explains the dire situation of the Nuggets as a whole. Jokic isn't really about doing too much than necessary but because the rest of the team is not working enough on their butts Jokic have no other choice but compensate on what's lacking on his team which will inevitably wear this poor man down. I think Calvin Booth should be held accountable for this and get fired for not doing his job.
2 years for Saric was the cost of doing business. He’d just go to Europe if he wasn’t given that. A fair question if that should have mattered given his production but that was the thinking.
Nuggets have been riddled with injuries and personal issues between AG, Murray, Jokic. Theyve also had 5 games they lost within single digits. If they win 3 of those 5 with a healthier roster, their record is 15-7. I dont think its the end of the world yet.
Agreed. Some of these are a bit of an overreaction. We're above .500 on a competitive Western Conference, 2-3 wins behind the 2 seed. Its all up to the team and coach to figure this out asap and for the FO to provide them with a more reliable bench. Its literally the biggest issues they have
@robertstenegard3329 right. And my point is when a few games make that drastic of a difference, the sample size is just too small. Especially when the team hasn't been able to have any continuity with players being out.
Look's like Denver will never make cut's until Jokic get injured. Seems to me they will take this half wins with best player more then invest in something great. Like they don't know that Nugget's from this era will be remembered truout Jokic and all who was with him. He is gonna be GOAT in next 5 - 6 years.
This totally unfair to Denver. The problem has been that two players that they paid max contracts to haven't progressed as expected. Not letting role players leave the team. That is going to happen when you win a championship. Neither Brown nor Pope have been any good since leaving Denver. The guys they replaced them with have been fine. The problem is mostly Murray. He has declined. Porter simply hasn't developed as anticipated.
Well done video & insights! 😎😎 However please be accurate in statistics: Nikola was never even listed over 6/11", & guys too often have their heights exaggerated &/or done in sneakers! Plus he has never been listed at 284 pbs.: & some say he has lost weight, & does later in the season.
Jokic is gunna burn out at this rate by the playoffs. He needs help but Nuggets FO screwed up contracts and they have no draft picks to trade. Or they need to TRADE Jokic and rebuild, then that way he can get the support he needs on another team. Only Jokic, AG, and maybe MPJ have trade value
I get what you're saying. The Nuggets actually have plenty of tradeable assets outside of picks. Peyton Watson is an elite shot blocker, Julian Strawther is a solid shooter and defender, and MPJ could be used to bring in multiple quality role players. If the Nuggets are serious about going all-in, they could even consider trading Christian Braun, who's averaging 17 PPG and plays elite defense. The front office has the pieces to make moves, i’s just a matter of whether they’re willing to do it 👍
Bro I’m not even an old head like that but veterans that aren’t complete buns should get some seniority. Why tf is Russ making less than Zeke Nnaji. Russ isn’t bad this season. Hes being a better role player than people who’ve always been one
Not even watching the video yet, because whatever your one problem is. It's wrong. The denver nuggets have an astronomical number of problems, but all of them begin and end with the team settling instead of atriving to get better. Outside of 3 players this year, I struggle to think of a player who's impacting the game better than last year. The front office has decided to do an impression of a fish out of water and the head coach cares more about getting his way and proving a point than doing his best to help his star player. The nuggets have a hundred and one problems right now, and there's no one thing that can change to turn this around. Thank you for reading my Ted Talk
I personally don’t think Josh Kroenke is gonna let Booth make any trades before this deadline, because Booth’s 🫏 is gonna get fired sooner or later. Unless Josh is insane, why would you trust that guy to make the right trade? And Josh better fix this and do damn well everything he can to help Jokic and improve this roster in the offseason. This year is a bust, face it Denver fans. Due to Mal not being able to be traded until the offseason, there’s no series of trades they can practically do to get better than OKC or even Dallas for that matter. Frankly, nobody is beating the Thunder this year.
2:10 Let’s REALLY take a look at the “loss” of BB & KCP. Bruce played 81 games that final year for us. He’s played less then that the last 2 seasons combined, all with worse numbers. KCP is having a career low 29% from 3 this year while also being down on his production. KCP was a ghost against the Timberwolves & was no help on defense either. They’re not missed.
Denver looks as if everyone in the team just got used to Jokic getting things done, and are thus just too pasive. They seriousely need to step up the game, put some work in the practices, and show some teeth and confidence on the court. This Denver is the wierdest i've seen in past few years.
just give jokic 15 game vacation. then review and give more minutes to new rookie players or bring new player who are undrafted from outside throughout the 15 games without jokic. if those playerdidn't perform properly cut them.
Crazy thing is Nikola can go all the way even with this roster, trust me, nobody wants Denver in 7 game series, they capable of beating anybody any given night. To bad that same goes the other way, any given night.... Wizards.....
Jokic wanted Russ and Murray, and Braun was a clear upgrade to KCP. Bruce Brown is about the only mistake you can say was made, but Westbrook pretty much fixed that. Murray and Watson need to play better.
Losing Bruce Brown was not a “mistake”. They literally could not offer him more than a set amount of money due to league rules. Of course Bruce would choose a 2 yr $45 mil contract over a 1 yr $7 mil contract. There was nothing the Nuggets FO could do about that.
Trade for Jimmy Buckets! Give them Jamal and Porter and the whole bench except Russ! Jamal has always been this guy.. now it’s so obvious because everyone is watching! Jamal cant beat any player has never had the speed nor has he got the shot selection.. his go to is the step back which is highly inconsistent shot and very difficult to make especially when tired! And now to make it all worse the injuries!
They need to fire Booth. Not qualified for the job handed him. Think he is a plant scent to destroy the Nuggets and is doing a really good job at that. 2 of the games that the Championship games that the Nuggets won they only made 5 3's. Murray is so over rated. I offered him 20 mill a year and been ok if he walked. The way he is playing the 20 mill is to high. Fire Booth.
Amazing content! 😊 I love Jamal Murray and he is a playoff beast, but when you compare his regular season production to players with similar stats, it really makes you wish there was some way he could take a bit less to help the team! They have to get to the playoffs first, without burning out! 🔥

Jokic is slowly making his way into my Top 10 all time
He is already top 3!
If he wins this year with this roster abomination, he squeezes the top 5 for me
He’s top 4 for me in terms of ability, his stats are just unreal. Ability might not be the only consideration for goathood though 🤷♂️
The people replying are crazy. You have to win championships to be considered great, along with the great play on the court. He has everything except multiple championships. No one in the top 10 all time has only a singular championship
@@NikolaTesla1389Delusional!
absolutely great content as always
Man I love your videos, but especially the ones on Nikola.
One has to wonder how Joker averages ten assists!
I was disappointed when Dame became "available" and Nuggets didn't take him. If I understood him well, he would like to play with Jokic. Instead, Joker will have to move if he really wants another ring.
Dame in place of Murray would've been amazing. A PG you can actually trust especially in the clutch, not Murray's inconsistent bs
Westbrook hello
@@TrueGuardifythey would dominate the league 😤
Joker needed to put up 40 points and 28 points to beat the Raptors twice, and both times by two points. The Raptors, who lost Scottie Barnes in the first game and didn't have him for the second and are second in the league for games lost to injuries, who had been at the bottom of the east all season long, required that amount of effort to bring down.
Yeah, Joker needs help.
Nuggets games this season would be only watched by family members of those players on the team if they didnt have Jokić on thier team
Yes, they are.
Yeah bro Idk what the hell are they thinking by giving Zeke Nnaji that contract. That man is useless lol
He's making more money than Brandon Miller, Clint Capela, Keegan Murray, Amen Thompson & many more.
Then almost same contract value as Chet Holmgren & Coby White.
Subscribed and dropped a like. Great vids man
I’m worried Joker is going to get injured this season given the wear and tear those extra minutes are going to cost.
Yikes
On a completely unrelated note, Steph needs more firepower to get another ring or two before he retires, and Warriors probably aren't afraid of spending some extra money.
Just throwing it out there LOL
That trade is impossible due to the CBA
I agree with this 6:55. I see some people say Jokic becoming more greedy inflating his points number, etc. Bro like he must have those kind of crazy points number because the team cant score a bucket at all. If jokic doesnt score those crazy number the team would lose 100℅
JM 97th...Joker(a center) is 2nd in 3pts % 😂
My nuggets just need to go into debt for like 5 years. We fucked up by resigning Murray too high so now it’s time to overspend on another key player. I can see us getting that chip again, we just need a solid shooter who makes buckets at a high level. Either that or Zack Levine!
I think Dennis Schröder would be a great fit for Jockic...
This was my first suggested video and I fell to my knees reading the title. Not you, my sweet 6man, please not you
Nuggets should consider rebuild now, no cap space no lottery picks, sooner or later they have to trade Jokic.
Sad that you might be right and all of that, cause of Murrays contract
jokic
108 points
32 boards
16 dimes
24 hours
CRAZY!
He literally produced 4 games production in 24 hours. 26-7.5-4 isn't bad at all.
short answer: yes they are !!!!!!
Jokic needs to force his way out. Nuggets are cooked. Staying with JM is going to end his chances at winning. Dude is a BUM and shouldn't have gotten that contract. Maybe half.
Players with his numbers this season getting 1/10th of what he makes lol
The Olympic Games showed it best.
Like right now I feel Watson and Braun try harder for the team than the other main guys and that is unacceptable.
short answer: yes - long answer: yes.
Why would nuggets just give OKC 3-4 rings😂😂😂 SGA and joker bruh stop and they keep chet 😂😂
If Jokic is the only best player on the team and no one else shows up.
That means the team is predictable af at this rate.
The craziest thing is, I think the Nuggets still has a legitimate chance to win if they can just get one good and consistent offensive player
Nuggets FO makes me want to cry. Thankfully there are 30 teams.
Jammal was always hit streaker, and momentum player ectect .but since injury he isnt right in body and mind...jamal knows game but broken at this moment
Joker should request a trade "period".
I wanna see jokic at dallas that would be the dream trio
If they don't make a trade or 2 to make their bench better. Honestly, I'm getting fed up with this team.
Murray showed his true form at the Olympics i knew then that the nuggets are cooked
I didnt know Saric was on 2 year contract, what a mess...
Its literally the biggest issues they have
swings and roundabouts, nuggets have also won 2 games that went to overtime which they couldve easily lost also
lol, they could have lost some more without last second magic and overtime wins....
@robertstenegard3329 right. And my point is when a few games make that drastic of a difference, the sample size is just too small. Especially when the team hasn't been able to have any continuity with players being out.
I still wonder why contracts are not performance based
Look's like Denver will never make cut's until Jokic get injured. Seems to me they will take this half wins with best player more then invest in something great. Like they don't know that Nugget's from this era will be remembered truout Jokic and all who was with him. He is gonna be GOAT in next 5 - 6 years.
ALL THOSE 1 AND DONE TEAMS...
However please be accurate in statistics: Nikola was never even listed over 6/11", & guys too often have their heights exaggerated &/or done in sneakers!
The front office has the pieces to make moves, i’s just a matter of whether they’re willing to do it 👍
If there is one thing i would like to see is Jokic and Curry together.
What's happening to Jokic and the nuggets looks so similar to what happened to Messi and Barcelona 😢
Bro I’m not even an old head like that but veterans that aren’t complete buns should get some seniority. Why tf is Russ making less than Zeke Nnaji. Russ isn’t bad this season. Hes being a better role player than people who’ve always been one
I think teams should get kicked out of the NBA
Sad. 😢😢😢
It's not about compacency, don't throw words around. Just building the perfect team it's not an exact science
Gotta play defense at the rim if you want to win Jokic
Jokic will not request a trade but this is just sad. Calvin Booth needs to be fired
Can you really blame Murray. Who wouldn't accept 208 mil
Top 5 most paid player rn is Murray lol
Ew
Trade trade and trade. Get the man some
Help!
If you mean by Jamal then yes
100% facts
Need a Tyler herro vid🥺
You know ball
When do we finally see the joker and doncic in one team?
They need to trade Murray and get two new shooters. Maybe KCP and Divencenzo?
Thumbnail pointed at his head (he has some minor balding going on) to help him with his receding hairline😂
I think it's time to trade Jamal Murray
Idk where do you get he was joking, because he was not?!
all denver need to do is go up to the basket and shoot but without jokic
Denver looks as if everyone in the team just got used to Jokic getting things done, and are thus just too pasive. They seriousely need to step up the game, put some work in the practices, and show some teeth and confidence on the court. This Denver is the wierdest i've seen in past few years.
just give jokic 15 game vacation. then review and give more minutes to new rookie players or bring new player who are undrafted from outside throughout the 15 games without jokic. if those playerdidn't perform properly cut them.
I wonder if the Nuggets would sign me for a few million. I may have a chance here.
Dario Saric can actually improve, but Naji noo. Jamali is the biggest problem!!!
Nikola Jokic deserves better then this.
Murray is not even top 15 pg right now
Crazy thing is Nikola can go all the way even with this roster, trust me, nobody wants Denver in 7 game series, they capable of beating anybody any given night. To bad that same goes the other way, any given night.... Wizards.....
Jokic is going all out right now, yet they still lost to the wizards. No way they make it past the second round lmao😂
They Lost to the Wolves in 7 yal glazers are insane 😂
I'd say he's the nba goat white guy after bird
B.I to the nuggets
Help or free him .
please trade jokic to the warriors so he can give those passes to steph curry, just the thought of it is salivating
🤨 Yes they failing him they have the lousiest bench in basketball. Who is the backup DeAndre Jordan ☺he was relevant back 10 years ago.
Jokić wanted Russ
Russ is not the issue, look Jamal and Denverr bench
@@Calaman228Jokic also praised Murray and wanted to keep him. Maybe GM overpaid but Jokic wanted Murray
Getting Russ’ current productivity on a vet min contract is a godsend - for a team with this much inflexibility and bad contracts
@@dewman7477 I think he did
@@smirking8457 I agree
And now to make it all worse the injuries!
he's going to the warriors most probably, nuggets dint have the cap space to afford him. De'Aaron Fox would be a better fit
Are you that slow? So get rid of all the good players, so teams can catch up more when Jokic isn't playing?
Trade joker. Free him!
Fire Booth.
Super
Nba is rigged. It's all about who has the biggest deal with the devil.
Amazing content! 😊 I love Jamal Murray and he is a playoff beast, but when you compare his regular season production to players with similar stats, it really makes you wish there was some way he could take a bit less to help the team! They have to get to the playoffs first, without burning out! 🔥
You lost me at "playoffs beast"
