Hey Agnes - My goodness........... After all we've been through doing crackle paint and we find out the Elmers glue by itself works beautifully. On your live last night you misunderstood what I was talking about. I was talking about the commercial Crackle medium you buy. That's what my Mom and I used to use on our projects. In my moves I don't know where some samples are to show you. I had saved a set of white plaques with paper tole flowers on them that had the crackle finish that we used an antiquing on after crackling and then my Mom used gold leaf paper on the sides to highlight edges.. Back then orange was a big color so the flowers were orange and some white daisies,. They were always on my walls so I'm stumped as to where they are now. So, I'm going to compare using the Elmer's and the commercial crackle and see which gives the best results. I wonder if it will work any differently on different surfaces, ie: wood, glass, paper, etc. hmmm
Beautiful
